On this blog I'll talk about things that make me happy, things that make me mad and all kinds of good, bad and strange things that happen in my life.

Jurassic World 2 Fallen Kingdom is playing at my theater in Ontario Canada.  
I'm going to go see it this week.   I also bought a Jurassic World magazine that has all the Jurassic Park and World movies and photos and articles about all the characters especially why they didn't show Samuel L. Jackson's death in Jurassic Park as he was the one that was going to put the power back on.    I know why they took his death out of the movie but its in the book.

My staff related involvement with this wonderful community began on the Live The Legend Wiki. I had a goal to structure the Wiki in a concise format. That led to my involvement working alongside Ty and web development throughout the JPL network.

I wanted to clear up my reasons for leaving JPL and the online fandom scene. I separated from my children's mother. To cope, I began training in mixed martial arts. That, and a lack of my own PC, deterred me from being active. Though my passion for dinosaurs and paleontology never diminished. In 2017 I took a trip to Sylvania OH, to Fossil Park....

So hear me out, I actually enjoy the story on Jurassic Park: The Game. I like getting backstory, and seeing dinosaurs we didn't have a chance to see in the films. It really does enhance the experience and answer some questions. With some tweaks (Rex smashing the VC, island being bombed which we never actually see), it can fit canonically with Jurassic World, especially as JW takes some lore from the game, like Mt. Sibo.

The game itself though....well it pretty well sucks. It's quick-time events, the game. It amazes me that Telltale Games made this, because the games I played after were...

After watching the film and it's sequel the other day, I've come to the conclusion that the franchise is the Jurassic Park of shark films. How so? Genetic tampering with Mako sharks, the only difference being they're using them as research to cure Alzheimer's disease. As with Jurassic Park, the sharks became aware and "broke out" of containment and went on a hunting spree. Aquatica also serves as the setting similar to Isla Nublar, but with this, it's not an island, it's a a remote former submarine refueling facility. So I'm currently making a text based game right now based on a few franchises (Jurassic Park, Dino Crisis, Fallout, Pitfall, and Horizon mostly). I've had this idea for some time now, but I'm finally breaking ground on it. It's called Quantum, the first chapter being called Project Leviathan. It's a sci-fi adventure game that will have a world of exploration, items, crafting, characters, and combat. And yes, there will be dinosaurs, kinda. You'll see what I mean if you read the updates this blog will receive in the future!

This is going to be a place where I post photographs, ideas, updates on projects, plans, blueprints, and just random things. Warning, I am a train enthusiast and history buff.
