They've been saying the Steve Rogers version of Cap may die off for the past few years cause of Chris Evans' contract coming to an end so who knows

Skeptical about Rogers because Evans has said he'd like to be back if they'd have him. His tone is much different from Downey who seems reluctant with each go. Maybe he won't be Captain America anymore, but Nomad or the Captain. I don't think Marvel is willing to let its top dog go after Iron Man goes if he wants to stay.

I guess that is a semi-reboot. Adam Warlock will replace Drax or Rocket on the Guardians. Unless the new movies focus on Ving Rhames, Michelle Yeoh and Stallone. Don't think people should be that shocked though. All the movies on the slate are movies with characters not named Thor, Iron Man or Captain America. They are just focusing on new people.

Someone said they might just not do a build up because these are smaller, character movies....every movie from Phase 1 bar IM2 was the same way, and like 95% of the heroes on the upcoming film roster are/were Avengers at one point: Stephen Strange, Black Panther, Scott Lang Ant-Man, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, etc. and that is not counting the other current Avengers likely to survive that don't currently have movies like James Barnes, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, etc. I don't know how they plan to use up barnes' movies, he still has like 4 to go, unless they do team up stuff.

I like the Black Panther music....let's hope another ex-Human Torch can save his career with MCU Marvel.

Tyler Perry was in talks with both DC and Marvel to direct superhero movies. Needless to say, they went nowhere.

Thankfully, talks with Fox for him directing a Fantastic 4 movie are still happening and both parties are still on good terms. Razz

I think it would cheapen Logan a bit if it was made.

Logan is great specifically because it's MORE than a superhero movie. It doesn't follow the typical world ending shenanigans, and instead is built up mostly through emotion and dialogue.

Damn, Thor: Ragnarok is a bona fide blockbuster!

Does anybody think it has a shot of reaching the coveted $1 Billion marker?

It's possible, but it depends on how well Justice League does.

Axel Alonso is out of Marvel Comics. He was the editor in chief and basically allowed the comics turn into SJW propaganda.

C.B. Cebulski is his replacement, hopefully things start to change for the better.

Hopefully the process of getting Marvel Comics back on the right track can begin.

But if it means DC gets a plague of SJW moron writers, they are in for a world of hurt.

I don't think DC will allow all of those same writers-maybe a very few, but not most/all-to infest their comic book division. They are still trying to fix their movieverse and their comic branch is still doing very well and is KILLING Marvel's. They don't need to ruin a good thing.

Well if you read the comic for the arc they're going in this movie, she gets put on trial and basically sentenced to death for killing like half an alien race or something.

I think it's actually a whole solar system, or at least a planet. The only way how Marvel could have saved her was if she basically committed suicide, which they had her do...until they brought her back which made it pointless.

I don't have faith in this movie, since the director of it is Simon Kinburg, who was one of the major players in Fant4stic, but at least this movie sounds ambitious.
