That trailer is freaking intense! This movie is gonna have me on the edge of my seat!

When Luke said 'I've seen this strength before' was he talking about his nephew or was he talking about the raw power he personally felt via Emperor Palpitine's force lightning in ROJ?

He is talking about Kylo Ren. His lack of fear over it contributed to the destruction of the Order and Kylo's turn.

Might make a "things we learned from the trailer" post later on to discuss a lot of what went down.

But needless to say, I don't think people will be saying this is an Empire rehash.

What if he’s secretly talking to someone else in that scene and he means Rey?

A man can dream. I really hope she goes bad and Kylo good. I think Adam Driver is such a great actor either way.

I know it’s unlikely but still.

He can't be talking about Rey because then he'd say he has seen the power twice and it has burned him both times. That is one of the only bits of unambiguous dialogue in the trailer. He wouldn't gloss over failing with Kylo first.

There is still a chance for your wish to happen although I think the last two shots are now an obvious fake out. But it can still happen. Or maybe Ben is extending an olive branch to Luke.

Now for a rehash of what was seen:

Spoiler:

Food for thought. The big bombshell at the end looks more and more like a deception.

I think this may be the most visually beautiful Star Wars film yet. The cinematography, the color, the effects, it looks jawdropping.

God, I hate the Porgs though. They are nothing but toys.

The porgs are way more obvious toy plugs than the Ewoks, and yet the Ewoks get more hate. That's logic for you!

To be fair, losing to teddy bears was far lamer the losing to Wookies/alien Bigfoot, which was what was originally planned.

We finally know the title for the Han Solo spin-off movie via his Twitter feed.

I'm not against short, sweet, and to the point. But this just plain lazy and boring.

I confess to wishing it was called something like Corellian Graffiti or something.

Also the Star Wars story subtag they use annoys me.
