| Mammals? I didn't know we were going past the mesozoic, That would need a whole new park. And as for suggestions, I'm quite happy with Gojira's list. Gondrasia, feel free to make the others list. Which includes animals from the permian period, and non-dinosaurian animals of the mesozoic. (Please incorporate Postosuchus, I'd appreciate it ) _______________ Formerly known as "Raptorlover0823." | |

| 50 dinosaurs sounds perfectly reasonable! As for last minute suggestions, here's my list:
Small Herbivores
Anchisaurus Archaeornithomimus Callovosaurus Crichtonpelta Einiosaurus Kulindadromeus Leaellynasaura Leptoceratops Microceratus Mussaurus Nasutoceratops Othnielosaurus
Large Herbivores
Camptosaurus Diabloceratops Euoplocephalus Hadrosaurus Hoplitosaurus Kritosaurus Maiasaura Muttaburrasaurus Ouranosaurus Supersaurus
Small Carnivores
Achillobator Coelophysis Coelurus Deinonychus Elaphrosaurus Eoraptor Epidexypteryx Herrerasaurus Majungasaurus Masiakasaurus Metriacanthosaurus Monolophosaurus Ornitholestes Proceratosaurus Procompsognathus Rugops Segisaurus Utahraptor Yi qi
Large Carnivores
Albertosaurus Giganotosaurus
Edit: Thank you RaptorLover, I'll get straight to work on the Others list at once! Edit: Added Yi qi, Epidexypteryx and Crichtonpelta

| Shoudl the survey be separated by herbivore and carnivore? If so, how much dinosaurs out of the 50 do we want? | |

Yes, I think it would probably make the selection process a bit easier if the survey is separated into carnivores and herbivores. Out of the 50 dinosaurs, I think a collection of 30 herbivores and 20 carnivores would be good for the park.

| The dinosaur survey is up. I played around with it awhile to see what was the easiest and quickest way of determining which dinosaurs to choose and I thought this would probably be where we should start. If it doesn't feel conclusive enough we can narrow down some of it and find a better way to do it.

| It won't take too long. It was either that or ask 50 individual questions with 108 answers, which would take forever. We're doing this democratically and that means having to do these things.
And just to make the process clearer, the point of the survey is to rank the herbivores and carnivores from highest to lowest by how strongly you wish them in the park. The overall highest ranked dinosaurs (top 30 for the herbivores, top 20 for the carnivores) will be the official list of dinosaurs.
EDIT: Gigantoraptor and Einosaurus are on the list twice, to be aware of that. Too late to fix it.
EDIT 2: It took me about 30 minutes to do. I understand that can be kind of a hassle and I'll try to find better ways to do these surveys in the future.

| So I'll probably let the survey go over the weekend. In the mean time we should talk about the other animals we want in the park, which we have a little bit already. And we still need a name. | |

| Eh, that was the name of a TV mini-series. Maybe something as simple as 'Jurassic Park: Florida'? Jurassic Park doesn't have to be in the title, just as suggestion. | |

| Depends, are we doing a theme park or a preserve? Preserves don't separate the wildlife. | |

Why Laurasia?
Laurasia was the supercontinent that existed during the reign of the dinosaurs; Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous period, and considering the location of the park, which would have been located adjacent to the North America part of Laurasia, I think it would be a good connecting name to Jurassic Park as it heralds to Earth's prehistoric past. - evolution_rex wrote:

| I won't close the survey until the end of the day but I got a good amount of responses this time so I think I'll do all surveys/polls at the end of the week and carry it over the weekend from now on. That way we can talk about stuff during the week and come up with new ideas and leave polling time for the weekend. | |
