Leave It At The Door

This is a message to members here who came here after the closure of JPL. And my message to you is: leave it at the door. Don't bring it here. Don't ruin a good thing. If someone wronged you on JPL, put on your adulting pants and move along. This is not just for the sake of staff, but for the sake of the fandom, sake of the members, and sake of your experience as well as new members.

I check the logs of the chat room. I will see if you're gossiping or talking about events you had with someone in detail. If you feel the need to apologize to someone over something you did previously to ensure no hard feelings, feel more than free to do it, but don't go out of your way to continue what is a very likely useless feud.

But even if you don't want to apologize and want to just forget about it - bury it, eat it, drown it - just don't bring it.

A valid point. There is a certain amount of bitterness for some of us, me included, who were banned for whatever reason. That time is gone.

This is a fresh new start, where we can be reunited with our old friends and again participate as members of the community without the past weighing us down.
