Bio: A unique genetic hybrid of Tyrannosaurus rex, Rugops, Giganotosaurus, Therizinosaurus, Velociraptor, Majungasaurus, Carnotaurus, tree frog, and cuttlefish, Indominus rex is a real life Frankenstein monster, sewn together from the parts of its kin and brought to life through Dr. Wu's mad science. Engineered as a prototype bioweapon by Hoskins, Wu, and InGen, Indominus was raised in captivity, and expressed traits of both a sociopath and psychopath. She killed for pleasure, and ate her own sibling when she was still young. 

Role in Jurassic Park: Indominus rex was meant to be Jurassic World's latest attraction, with the hopes of boosting sales through the roof. The base genome was T. rex, but the rest... including the Raptor DNA, was classified. Indominus rex was incredibly intelligent because of her Raptor DNA, and was able to mastermind her own escape from her enclosure by faking her escape, ensuring the doors to her pen would be opened while workers searched for her. Once out, iRex went on a rampage, culling many herbivores and attacking a Gyrosphere with park attendees Zach and Gray Mitchell inside. She also slaughtered a squad of ACU soldiers who tried recapturing her with nonlethal weaponry. The iRex attacked the Aviary, and spooked the Pteranodon and Dimorphodon inside enough for them to attack the park guests. Though there were few casualties, many people were injured, forcing the evacuation of the theme park. With most guests evacuated, Raptors were let loose on Isla Nublar for them to help bring down the Indominus. Unfortunately, because the Indominus was part Raptor, it learned how to communicate with the Raptor Squad and forced them into attacking the ACU agents. Eventually, Raptor Handler Owen Grady was able to coerce the Raptors back under his guidance, and a battle on the Jurassic World Main Street ensued. The Raptors were out matched, however, forcing Park Supervisor Claire Dearing into releasing the Tyrannosaurus rex. The Tyrannosaurus, with the help of Blue the Raptor, managed to push the Indominus towards the Mosasaurus Lagoon, where the Mosasaurus jumped from the water and dragged the iRex into a watery grave.
