| Hello again, Last year, I talked about sharing my Jurassic Park fan-script (a screenplay) on here, but I never did. I'm sad I didn't do that. Well, starting next week, I'll be revising the script and then I will make it public. The story is called Jurassic Legacy: Site B. (Ignore the Twitter name, I've changed accounts) Read my Jurassic Legacy: The InGen Diaries post to know more about the Jurassic Legacy title and what it means. Here's the synopsis from my website: "On Isla Nublar, InGen plans to create an amusement park, Jurassic Park, for the world to marvel at bio-engineered dinosaurs. Although some dinosaurs are to be bred on Isla Nublar for show, the real factory for Jurassic Park is based on Isla Sorna, or Site B, as employees call it.
When Dennis Nedry, a disgruntled employee, releases a code into the Jurassic Park systems, one which was transmitted to Site B, the technology misbehaves. In the direct path of a terrible hurricane, one which barely touched Isla Nublar, most personnel are being evacuated, but those aware of the security breach, they stay behind to assess and neutralize the threat in Site B's systems.
BioSyn, InGen’s hidden rival, has executed a covert retrieval team, given the mission of retrieving a live sample dinosaur for Mascom's investor representative.
Caught in the rivalry chaos, amidst fearful tyrants and a raging wind, are a couple, struggling to save their marriage. Phillip Mantell, a security guard on Site B, he smuggled his wife, Annette, onto the island in an effort to convince her not to leave him. Phillip quickly learns he made a mistake bringing Annette to the island.
Restricted by the hurricane to unsafe facilities, some housing clans of vicious creatures, these three parties; the couple, InGen, and BioSyn, must survive the island and each other if they wish to ever make it off Site B.
Something will survive. Will it be them?"This story is supposed to cover what happened on Isla Sorna during the events of the first Jurassic Park film. Like in my Jurassic Legacy: The InGen Diaries post, I am thinking of making this one a free e-book on Kindle as well. I will share the first 30 pages on my website in .PDF format, saving the rest for the e-book. I will try to offer updates on the project as the days go by. Going by the synopsis, what do you think of this story? _______________ J. Quinzelle "I bring scientists, you bring a rock star." -John Hammond My Website My FanFiction My Twitch Channel | |

| While the Biosyn subplot seems to be interesting, I'm not sure about the whole wife smuggling thing. I have to read your script to make my own opinion it.
I've uploaded the PDF version via your post on Reddit. I will have a look at it during the week. _______________ Check out my reimagining of Jurassic World here:

| I just finished to read your script. It was a fun read. I appreciated the horrific tone reminiscent of the novels and the anyone can die aspect. As much as the story length allowed it, the characters were developed enough for the reader to be concerned about their fate.
As for the flaws, I didn't think that Amber was that necessary. It seemed like you imposed yourself the rule of having a kid character in a JP story and she was a bit like an expy of Newt from Aliens. _______________ Check out my reimagining of Jurassic World here:

| Thanks for the feedback, Geeky Zoologist. I did struggle with Amber because, as you mentioned, I tried to abide by the "have a kid" rule. I wanted to make her more prominent, but was afraid I'd go the Kelly from TLW route, where she outstays the welcome. So, I tried to make Amber as a character to fill in the background world of Isla Sorna; Phil isn't the only one bringing illegal guests to the island. Thanks again. _______________ J.
