Recommended mod packs/ideas?

I might be getting JPOG on PC to use for modding (I got bored of the PS2 version after a while) and was just wondering what are the best skin packs or mods in general to download? And what are the limitations, like could I use the terrain of one pack with the dino skins of another? Thanks.

Please get GEP and GEP v 2. And, shouldnt this topic be somewhere else? Mod forum is for lmods only.... >_>

Like Shumpu said, GEP v1 and v2 are absolute must haves in the JPOG of today. I myself would also recommend the Film Canon Mod (FMC) or the Novel Canon Mod (NCM), as both feature some truly brilliant dinosaur skins that remain true to the film and novel respectively.

And if you're interested in stand-alone mods, skins, islands and the like, check out Modding Genesis or JPLegacy's modding section for plenty of cool stuff.

^hehe the GEP1 file is corrupted and the GEP2 download file doesn't work!

Thanks guys. Sorry, can I just ask again if it's possible to have two packs operating at the same time on a game? So could I get the Film-Canon mod as well as the GEP pack for one game?

Yes, you most definitely could. The GEP changes game files, stats, values, limits, terrain and tree/grass textures and some other things. It doesn't do anything with the dinosaurs' skins, be they default or already changed, so FCM/your chosen skin can be used in conjunction with it.

That's great. I've been looking at the skins on Legacy and a lot of them are absolutely brilliant.
