It's JP's 24th anniversary today!

Happy 24th, JP! Who go to experience JP in theaters back in '93? My first time was when it came out on VHS in '94, but I already knew the entire story by that point.

Supposedly Uni is making a big deal of JP's 25th, including a wave of merchandise and movie-accurate action figures (according to Jurassic Outpost at least).

To be fair to Universal, something big would make more sense for the 25th anniversary then the 24th. My point is, which sounds better, at least to the GA, in marketing materials: "celebrate the 24th anniversary!" or "celebrate the 25th anniversary".

It would be sort've like doing something big the the 18th anniversary rather then saving up for the 20th anniversary.
