| I figure we could use a deleted scene thread for shots we saw in trailers that were not in the movie, alternate lines of dialogue and scenes that were only heard about.
Rexy roaring at the guy on the ladder was significantly cut rom the Chinese trailer.
The mosa eye shot was missing.
The dead Ankylosaurus from the first trailer was gone.
Slightly extended shots of the surfers in the water.

| Maisie playing with the T-Rex toy on the island diorama.
Owen saying "This is gonna be awesome"
Malcolm saying "Here I am talking about dinosaurs again"
Door shutting violently towards Owen (we've seen that in the very first BTS)

Malcolm saying "Life finds a way" Yep! Nice catches. Also I’m pretty sure Owen tracking blue in the BTS was longer. I think I remember a shot of a stream or something.

| Not sure if it counts as a deleted scene since it was not filmed, but is it true that (supposedly) spinosaurus was in an early version of the script?

| The T. rex ending on Sorna where the dinosaurs were re-located to Sorna, which still had some dinosaurs left, and that Rexy finally found a family. That would have been better then the ending we got. I mean. - Spoiler:
How are they going to explain how the dinosaurs DON'T get wiped out by the U.S. military

Is this a joke or was that actually planned at some point? - Rhedosaurus wrote:

I think people are misunderstanding the ending slightly. The ending is not bad because of those specific dinosaurs that escape from Lockwood manor. It's bad because creating dinosaurs is now essentially an open source technology and any company will be able to create them. I fully expect a time jump in JW3 and Colin has even confirmed that dinosaurs will be worldwide in JW3 (because the tech is open-source due to many people buying DNA, embryos and dinosaurs from the auction.) The dinos that escape at the end of FK are symbolic of the technology becoming open source. Also, I fully expect some of those species to survive capture (if they can breed like the Sorna dinos) like the compies and pterosaurs. Maybe some of them like Rexy will be captured in the gap between movies (I doubt they would kill rexy off screen).

| There was to be a scene featuring John Candy (rendered in CGI ala Grand Moff Tarkin) meeting the DPG when they arrive on Main Street, saying, "Sorry folks, park's closed. The T. rex out front shoulda told you."
On a serious note, I wish they had kept in Rexy roaring at Jack as he attempts to escape...until the Mosasaurus eats him.

| Is the "rexy roaring at jack" scene the one before she bites the ladder? Wasn't that in the movie? Or is there another one that was cut? | |

If you look at the Chinese trailer you can see they cut off the full roar like half way through. It’s easy to miss.

| Supposedly you can actually see a few plates of a dead stego in the nest scene if you look hard enough. According to Jurassic pedia instagram anyway but idk. We also saw what appeared to be dead stego in the B roll so i guess it's prob the same scene.
I find it really disappointing they cut all these dead animals out of the movie as it would give a great atmosphere to see skeletons of dead animals and then a corpse to boot. I hope Bayona doesn't know what he is talking about when it comes to NO deleted scenes. I want to see extended dialogue.
And honestly it makes me a little sad that as paying customers we can't see these scenes. I mean, can't they just put them in there no matter how bad they are? It's not like it is an unfinished scene with heavy special effects. Holding out hope for a few deleted bits.
Just as a footnote when rooster teeth went to the set they saw a baby stego near the scene of Blue's nest.

The carcass actually looks past the bloated stage. Besides, I know of know bloating that could double the size of the skeletal tissue in the head. This will be one deleted scene I will gladly ignore. _______________ SOMETHING HAS SURVIVED
