The move from Sunday to Thursday caused the ratings of 'The Orville' to basically implode.
It was a really stupid move. At least wait for the show to establish itself before moving it to late Thursday night ffs.
agreed. I think the network is dumb to do this move, the ratings fell after they moved it. This show is actually looking to have a lot of potential and I want to see where these characters go.

I was going to watch it, but fell asleep 20 minutes into the first episode.

Was not impressed with the little bit I saw.
Star Trek Discovery leads to record sign ups for the streaming service.
Finally watched the first two episodes of Star Trek: Discover in their entirety. They were actually pretty decent. Very un-Treky, very dark, but decent in their own way. I'll keep watching for now.

So far, from what I can tell, for every person who likes it 2 people hate it. Most of the Trekkies that are in the one FB group I'm in hate it or have little hope left for it.

Like I said, it's VERY un-Star-Treky. The tone, the dialogue, etc etc etc are all extremely different. Dark, humorless, and just downright depressing at times.
You almost have to watch it as a standalone entity rather than a Star Trek series. But, for what it's worth, I find it intriguing, which is more than I can say about a lot of shows. The acting is good, the graphics are great, and the Klingons (for all of their faults in this series) aren't just one dimensional bad guys.
Spike Just Canceled Stephen King’s “The Mist” Series
All the SJW bull and the fact they made a series out of a novel dealing with monsters, and then mostly cut out the monsters was it's death sentence. I watched 3 episodes and it was boring. Not sad to see it go, but sad to see such potential wasted.

Yeah the thing at the end (not that anyone cares) where the girl finds out she was lusting after her half brother the entire series made me want to throw up. Bleh.
CBS is thinking about selling the historic Television City studio in L.A.

Orville is destined to be renewed and moved to a new time slot that does NOT involve Thursday Night Football.
Fox will give everything McFarlane a second, third, fourth and fifth chance to not have another Family Guy blunder.

I would very much like to see what a second season of the Orville looks like as these characters are allowed to grow and develop.
Anyone currently watching 'Ghosted'? It starts Craig Robinson and Adam Scott. Its pretty funny, like a half hour x-files if it were a comedy. Im excited to see where it could go. If you subscribe to Hulu it should be on there, the pilot at least.

Eww. I know TWD is inconsistent as hell, and the 7th season was pretty poor, but still...Just no.

From what I understand it is going to be on Fear, as a cameo on walking dead will spoil who dies in fear. Anyway, I think they are gonna troll everyone to force them to watch Fear by having this be Negans backstory on FEAR

I have a feeling this will be a 'be careful what you wish for, you just might get it' moment and that Scully will be abducted by aliens.
