| Speaking of 'last man', couple of days ago Last Man on Earth was renewed to season 4 by Fox. I stopped watching it last year, at the beginning of season 3 because it was getting somewhat stale and I had so much other stuff to go through, but I'm tempting of finishing that season now. You know, I miss hearing Mabel's voice in new episodes (seriously, Kristen Schaal's natural voice is exactly the same in real life as in GF lol) |

| Bill Nye's Netflix show is getting torn apart on Reddit.
It's basically because how he comes across as too mean and too political. It's really sad how far he's fallen since the 1990's.

He was fired for being a jackass the first time, no idea why they brought him back a 2nd. I think part of the reason is because Rupert Murdoch is giving power to his 2 more liberal sons. Perhaps one of them brought him back. In any case Fox News is in big trouble. Roger Ailes wanted to become a kingmaker in the 2016 election. The problem was that his news network was basically hijacked by Donald Trump since he helped out Ailes with a problem. In any case, even after Ailes left, the network was forced to tow the line. Ailes got his wish, but not in the way he hoped. And in the end, it cost him everything. I still don't think he had a plan for what would happen if he left.

| Anyone excited for Twin Peaks tomorrow?
Here's a great article for those who've seen Twin Peaks, are excited for it's return, but are not familiar with David Lynch. http://www.vulture.com/2017/05/twin-peaks-is-not-the-show-weve-convinced-ourselves-it-was.html
Basically, to sum up the article, this new Twin Peaks series is going to abandon a good portion of the audience just like the movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me did, and probably moreso. He has complete creative control this time, and he's a surrealist artist. I'm gonna love it most likely because I'm an enormous fan of his work having seen all his films, but I just know the mainstream audience is going to be like 'what the hell am I watching? None of this makes sense!'

| Samurai Jack has officially ended. It was a great revival, which may have had a few bumps in the road, but overall I was satisfied to have it back, even for a short time. | |

| I started rewatching Mad Men. It's literally been a 9 year break, as I'm pretty certain summer of 2008 was the last time I saw a single minute of it, stopping at the end of season 1. And I really can't fathom why I did that, or why I never went back before now, because this is amazing television. Simply amazing. I think I'm going to binge watch all 7 seasons in a matter of couple weeks. Maybe in even less than that. Bring on endless amounts of liquor and smokes! And CH's legendary bosom of course lol |

| Anyone watch the Flash finale for season 3? For being so hyped up I was sort of let down by the way it ended. A tad predictable. | |

I really loved the new Twin Peaks. It was darker (which I loved), but Part 3 and 4 were more like the original series. I think the new dark tone works really well. Almost on par with the original series.

| The rebooted Powerpuff Girls had a creepy moment about an adult man having a crush on Blossom.
Is it just me, or has Cartoon Network gone downhill after moving Toonami to weekend nights? Because other then seeing parts of one episode of Samurai Jack-which I liked but never got around to be a fan due to how late it aired-I've rarely seen any other good TV show on that channel.

Where in the article does it say an adult man has a crush on an underage character? Because I didnt see it and the title of the actual article clearly says the theory is not true....

I didn't read the article but that isn't the gist of that rumor. Basically they animated a character and modeled him after an animator. They thought it'd be funny to have the guy the character looks like voice him, so he does. People took that out of proportion and are saying he's a self insert character made to be a love interest which isn't true. Cartoon Network right now is not in its best shape. However, a lot has come out in recent years that was really good. If you're a fan of the 80s and like shows with some great character development while being a bit weird, Regular Show was great. Adventure Time isn't bad, it's still going but it feels like it's gone too long. Steven Universe is good. The main problem is the channel plays repeats of Teen Titans: GO, a godawful comedy spun off from a great series from the early 2000's. They run it like 15 times a day.

An animated series would fit it so much better then a live-action movie ever will.

Something needs to be done with that network. It started with that one plane in 2014 and everything for CNN has gone downhill ever since.

| CNN is the KING of overdoing a story. It's a real pain because you don't get any actual news, you just get 5 people discussing the same subject over and over and over again. They're the only major news source I don't care to follow, and I follow most of them including both MSNBC and FOX News (I like to keep tabs on what the fringe sources out there). I mean, sure MSNBC and FOX are echo chambers for the left and the right respectively, but CNN is just a cave of people talking to each other about the same news story over and over and over. It's overkill. I'd rather listen to NPR or read the New York Times. | |
