Elizabeth Kemp, an actress who found perhaps her most impactful role as a teacher of others, including Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga and Harvey Keitel, has died. She was 65. Her death was announced Saturday by her Facebook page administrator Rosa Asor Morelli

Law enforcement tells TMZ, Heron's girlfriend went to his L.A. area home Friday morning and found him dead. Paramedics worked on Heron for 40 minutes trying to revive him, to no avail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
We're told Heron had been sick the last few days. Blake had battled heroin and had just gotten out of rehab ... literally days ago.

Constant drug use can ruin your body even long after you quit the habit. Chris Latta, the original voice actor of Cobra Commander and G1 Starscream, fought drug use in the 1980's but even though he beat the habit, his body was so damaged, that it was basically FUBAR and died because of that. So it's very likely that his immune system was weakened to the point where it couldn't fight effectively fight diseases.

Len Wein, the co-creator of Wolverine, Swamp Thing, Storm, Nightcrawler, and other comic book characters, has died at the age of 69.

16 years ago yesterday 3000 people died in one of the most heinous crimes ever committed against humanity.
I'd just like to say RIP to all of our brave men and women who worked in the towers or served as emergency workers. I was about 6-7 when it happened and all I could remember knowing or thinking about was that I was happy my dad was home safely that evening. And I also remembered and realized much later that many children didn't get that luxury.....
It was one of the only times I have ever seen my parents cry. I remember not understanding why someone would do something so awful to their fellow man.... but honestly after looking at the footage today, even 16 years later I still have that lingering question in my mind sadly.
Not to get too political but it's also incredibly sad that it takes a bunch of people getting blown up, to get us to come together as people in general..... I really hope this event is never forgotten and maybe in the future something can be learned from all political sides. Or more importantly humanity in general.
