| I had one before and it only lived for about 3 months. I got it as an adult though. So, I'm assuming it was an older individual and possibly wild caught. However.. I had this one for almost a year now. I got it while it was still young and I was told it was captive breed. So, far so good. This particular one will even crawl on my hand.. When it's in a good mood..
Going to be taking some photos of my few species of centipedes & African Giant Millipedes. Stay tuned for those!

| Okay, I'll admit it. That P. Regalis is pretty cool. The colours and all.
Very nice specimen, Bob.

| Decided to put pictures of my little freaks. I have kittens called Hank and Gary, and whenever I meet a human named Gary or talk to a Gary on the phone, things get weird.. They like to lay on things. - Spoiler:
I have fish tanks. - Spoiler:
^ They're venomous and frantic. Had em since they were babies. ^ He's hard to keep and just cruel. Had him since he was less than an inch long. ^ He's a baby and not mean. At all. It's adorable. (my last one was a nut) One of the boesemanis, who I've had since they were teeny. He isn't the biggest one, but the biggest one is quite a sight. Here's the whole tank, though very understocked:

| Wait, Pictus catfish are venomous? That's what those barbs are for... Anyways I was jabbed by one of those a long ways back and I'm fine. Yay? | |

| The barbs aren't venomous, the dorsal fin is.
The barbs are just regular catfish whiskers. If you had been stung with venom it'd swell, get infected and you'd be in quite a bit of pain.

| So...I see you guys love spiders. I have aracnophobia so just looking at those tarantula pics it makes me nervous XD. I know tarantulas are harmless but their size/look still makes me afraid haha At least none of you tried the Brazilian wandering spider. So, I have 2 dogs now and 1 canary. My older dog is 13 years old and the younger is 3. They're both daschrounds. I'll se if I can take pics. I also had fish when I was a kid but as I said in the other thread, they died bc I was very ignorant and didn't know they needed a lot of things. I plan to have fish and maybe a lizard like iguana or even a snake when I have my own house. | |

| Found a baby Alligator Snapping Turtle in my parents pool skimmer yesterday. Little guy hadn't been there long so I rescued him and took him inside. Turns out they're endangered in my neck of the woods, and to be honest, I'm not even sure where he came from as we don't live close to any major bodies of water.
We kept him for a day, gave him a rock and enough water to swim in, but he didn't seem to want to eat crickets, or the worm we put in his cage, and so today we drove up to nice little pond out of the way of things and let him go there. Put him down a few feet and watched him haul it as fast as he could to the water.

| Today my parents bought my kids one of those Dwarf Hamsters. Little guy is cute, but the our cat has been eyeing the cage since we got him, and I'm gonna have to move him somewhere where the kitty doesn't go much. | |

| Had a traumatic day. My 12 week old kitten got under my foot and...well I stepped on him. Heard a pretty awful sound and he freaked out and blood started pouring out his nose. I bundled him up and rushed him to the vet. They x-rayed him, looked him over, took his temperature. Except a fever, they couldn't find anything wrong. They said he likely sustained trauma, but he showed no signs of broken bones, internal bleeding, or brain trauma. He was still walking, although a bit lethargic, and had a fever, but otherwise they said he seems fine. They gave a shot to help his fever and said they think he'll be fine, but I'm still really worried about him. He ate a bunch when I brought home a new bag of food tonight, and besides not being very playful he seems fine (sneezing a bit but I'm assuming that has to do with the leftover blood in his sinuses.)
I have beat myself up all day, I've never hurt one of my animals, and especially one who is still a baby, I'll never forgive myself if his health goes downhill or worse from this. I'm just waiting and watching and hoping he will continue to be ok.
