Survivor Forum Game?

I randomly just happened to remember playing a "game" on several forums around 10 years ago, and recalling how fun, not to mention popular it was. It was called Survivor. If some of you guys wanted, maybe we could play it here as well. I think Alien+Predator franchise would be pretty good choice for a game since there are so many entries in it and relatively many people have seen it.

Basically what happens in this game is that you vote for something to be the best of the bunch and eliminate other things out of the way. For example, you vote which is the best Metallica album. Or Indiana Jones film. Or whatever. The last remaining entry was the "survivor". The way how this works is:

Each item on the survivor list has 20 starting points. So with A+P the initial list would look like:

Alien 20
Aliens 20
Alien III 20
Alien Resurrection 20
Predator 20
Predator II 20
Predators 20
Alien vs Predator 20
Alien vs Predator Requiem 20
Prometheus 20

Once a day (after every 24 hours) you can make a vote on thread and either add more "points" to items on list to make them safer from elimination, and/or reduce their "points" to ultimately eliminate them. When item reaches 0, the said item is eliminated and removed from the list. The last standing survivor item wins.

Now, I'll be honest, I don't 100% exactly remember what the standard voting quota was back in the day because the last time I played this was quite literally a decade ago. So this is possibly modified version of that if my memory is wrong, but who cares right? Player chooses one of the following voting methods:

-2 points to Item X
+1 point to Item Y

+2 points to Item X

+1 point to item X
-1 point to item Y

No other version of point giving is allowed, if other method is used it is considered invalid and can be ignored.

Each player then puts out the modified list (points added or reduced) in their post in addition to their "votes".

Example of how it works if I on day 1 as first entry decided to give:
-2 AVP Requiem
+1 Alien Resurrection

Then the updated list reads

Aliens 20
Alien III 20
Alien Resurrection 21
Predator 20
Predator II 20
Predators 20
Alien vs Predator 20
Alien vs Predator Requiem 18
Prometheus 20

And so on. I know I explained this in way more detail terms than necessary but hopefully not too lengthy so does anyone actually want to play this? And if not of Alien+Predator, then of something else?

I actually did this on JPL but kept it strictly to Jurassic Park related stuff, but instead of +1 -2. I did +1 -1, +2 or -2. But if we're starting off with the Aliens franchise...

Well the one thing I do remember from the "old days" was that strict -2 or +2 was not being used because it could cause stalemate towards the end. So if it's alright let's go with what I stated? As in -2/+1, +2, +1/-1.
