This is a topic that I think could lead to discussion wether it be serious or not. Personally, I like to imagine a 6 year old Ian Malcom babbling chaos theory and little Owen practicing #Prattkeeping with the dogs. As for the reverse, what do you guys think the kids of JP will be like as adults?

I can imagine little Wu as a nerdy type kid that everyone picked on because he was nerd and loved to study science specially biology (like me except I'm not a genius), he was far ahead the knowledge of a kid in his age and had good grades. He probably didn't have a lot of friends since his interests would be science only. I don't think he was spoiled or even arrogant as a kid, I imagine him as a shy kid that when he wasn't playing, he spent his time reading a lot of biology books, fascinated by everything.

Also for Ian Malcolm, I think since he was a kid he liked black clothes and the color would be one of his favorites. I think he would also develop interest about maths since a kid, Chaos Theory is based on Fractal Geometry or something like that, as he says in the book.

I think something happened with Claire when she was a kid which changed her to be the way she was by the time JW happened.

Maybe she was bullied too as a kid so that's why she acted cold and didn't want to have any relationships with humans?

Kid Wu probably considered himself to be above his peers. I imagine him feeling like he doesn't need to be friends with them because they're not smart enough, and considering how different he is to be a good thing. He'd be the kid who would correct the science teacher whose material was out of date, take charge of science projects and not let his teammates put in their say, and answer all the questions just a little too haughtily. He decided at a very young age to get into science, just so that he could prove everybody wrong when he made discoveries.

Kid Owen definitely lacked a father figure. It's everywhere in his mannerisms. He got along better with animals and sometimes tried to befriend them. He probably tried to tame an alligator at one point during his childhood, to his mother's horror.

Kid Claire used to be closer with her sister, but their differing personalities pushed them apart as they grew. Claire wanted to play adventurous games, while her sister was content to play with dolls. She didn't identify well with the other girls at her school, and when she tried to hang out with the boys, most of them teased her incessantly, so she became aloof and distant from all her classmates but a few. When they were older, most of those boys who used to tease her tried to ask her out, but she turned them all down. Karen tried to stay close to her, but her intense desire to have children all too often became the focus of all their conversations and Claire found it hard to feign interest.

Kid Malcolm could've been popular if he'd wanted to be. He was smart during an age when that wasn't so cool, but he also had the wit and charm that people liked. But, he preferred to be more of a loner. Wild rumors about the awesome things he did in his private life circulated around school, and he didn't really do anything to dissuade people from thinking those things.

Kid Ellie led a charmed life. She didn't experience many major setbacks when she was young, and she developed a full sense of confidence because of this. She's always been as much of a go-getter that we see in the movie, full of enthusiasm and thrill. Nobody really messed with her because they had learned that she didn't let things hold her back; in fact, most of her classmates were friends with her, and she was very defensive of them. You didn't mess with Ellie Sattler's crew. High school was somewhat tougher on her, but she made it through relatively unscathed.

Kid Grant was the quiet one. He continued liking dinosaurs when his classmates grew up, and he kept it mostly to himself as he feared being teased for it. He didn't have a girlfriend until after he graduated high school; he thought that because he wasn't a jock, he didn't have a chance. His growth spurt didn't come until college, so he disappeared in crowded hallways easily and often intentionally. He had a few friends that he kept close, but ultimately didn't communicate with them enough to keep them after high school.

Aw I like to think he was bullied as a kid so that's why he got into this mindset "I'm better than everyone.". Also, I would say that he got arrogant and stuff in his teens.

Also, perfectionist too. That's also commonly mistaken as arrogance. I was very perfectionist as a kid when it came biology, and some ppl said it passed the image I was arrogant. Crying or Very sad

Anyway, kid Claire is just what I think too. She didn't fit well and was possibly bullied so that's why she's like that in JW. Also, she's like an indepedent woman that wants to foccus on her work so that's why she didn't want kids or boyfriends.

Lowery had father's issues, since he explained that with Vivian "Despite meeting him only when I was 13, I consider Carl a father more than my real father". Due to his passion for dinosaurs, Lowery always preferred to stay at home reading dino stuff or playing with dino toys rather than going out playing with friends, but I guess his real father didn't like that because he wanted his son to grow up and have friendships. He had many arguments with his real father, until he met this Carl, who probably understood him more. As soon as San Diego incident happened, Lowery was more amazed than terrified. He then started to be a Jurassic Park fanboy, and tried everything to work in Jurassic World when the park opened.

Masrani's hero is his father. Simon lived in a very religious family, so he's so attached to spiritual concepts, big values and philantropism. His father gave him a lot of freedom to explore, experience life in every way. He used to bring his son Simon every weekend to a different place every time. He was rich, but in his journeys he met various poor people, so he started to grow a sensibility to those who doesn't have the money to go on, and that's why he became very humble. At school he didn't always have the highest votes, but he was clearly a smart and talkative guy who made a lot of friends.

Vic Hoskins was bullied at school, because he was fat and apparently not as smart as his classmates. He grew an anger inside that made him cry very often after coming back from a school day. He had a very fierce dog, and Vic often dreamed of his dog to attack and kill the bully classmates. One day he met a young guy (the future InGen bearded guy) who was an expert in weapons, military strategies, etc. He was the first one to understand Vic, so they became very close friends, and Hoskins found something that really made him satisfied of his life. He began to be interested, almost obsessed with military strategies, at the point he formulated his own philosophy about the importance of war.
One day a girl fell in love with Vic, so they married, but she later understood how unpredictable Vic was, and especially she didn't like his willing to promote war and violence if necessary. Hoskins found and raised a wolf pup despite his wife's opposition, so she tried to attack her husband, but was stopped and hurted by the wolf pup.
Hoskins was even more convinced at how much animals can be faithful to humans, and even be used as weapons.

After thinking about it, I'm imagining a Muppet Babies esque take on the JP films.

Lord Kristine's fanfictions about the JW characters' experiences growing up are worth a look, to anyone who's ever wondered about this topic.
