After losing their genetically modified dinosaurs, InGen could turn to creating sabertooth tigers in Jurassic World 3. The recent continuation of the Jurassic Park franchise continued to advance the technological capabilities of the franchise. John Hammond previously brought dinosaurs back from extinction, with InGen since genetically modifying them to fit their needs. The franchise even introduced human cloning in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
However, Jurassic World 3 will pick up on a different thread: a world where dinosaurs now roam free across North America. This was the result of a failed auction inside the Lockwood Manor, where the prized possession was the newly created Indoraptor. The Indoraptor was created by InGen's Dr. Henry Wu for military purposes, but the prototype version of the hybrid dinosaur and the machines used to create it were destroyed. With InGen likely looking for a new weapon to sell, could they look to bring back sabertooth tigers next?
That's exactly what could happen according to this new Jurassic World 3 theory featured in the latest Screen Rant video. While this may seem like a stretch at first, the franchise has already had teases of the prehistoric cats being in consideration to be brought back. For starters, the gift shop from the original Jurassic Park included stuffed animals. Even though they were not shown to be alive in the park, this could tease that they are a species John Hammond envisioned saving as well. The other possible piece of evidence for this theory comes in Fallen Kingdom, as a skull of a sabertooth tiger is featured among the collection of fossils in Lockwood Manor. This could indicate that InGen may have access to some of their DNA as well.
If Jurassic World 3 is going to bring sabertooth tigers into the picture, it wouldn't be too difficult to imagine how InGen could pull this off. A mixture of various cat DNA could be used to fill any gaps on the genetic code of the sabertooth tigers, possibly even giving them greater strength, speed, or other abilities. It's even possible that this could kick off a larger effort from InGen to bring more prehistoric animals back, as long as they can be used for their gain.
While this is just a theory, the potential of sabertooth tigers appearing in Jurassic World 3 ultimately raises the question of what purpose they will serve. For InGen, it isn't difficult to imagine why they could have an interest in re-creating them. They've been obsessed with militarizing dinosaurs but have found out first hand just how difficult this can be. Potentially, sabertooth tigers could be easier to break and train depending on what other feline DNA they are laced with. This could make them safer militaristic weapons, while also acting as a counterattack to the freed dinosaurs perhaps. As Jurassic World 3 gears up for a 2021 release, it may not be too long before we learn whether or not sabertooth tigers will factor into the story. _______________ Last Movie Watched: Firestarter (2022). | I like the idea of having Ice Age animals. Just no more hybrids or mutants. _______________ Link to the T Rex Spinosaurus rematch in Jurassic World 3 petition that Colin Trevorrow noted. We hope everyone joins and help us share it.

| I don't really like the idea. It muddies the waters too much. Say what you want about the hybrids, but at least they were still dinosaurs, aesthetically speaking at least. If we were to get some sort of spinoff series, then maybe, but as the franchise stands right now it would take the attention off the dinosaurs to a certain extent, and I really don't want to see that happen. _______________ Dinosaurs still rule the earth | |

Not only that, but do we really want to hear people complaining about how the Ice Age animals aren't accurate either? I'm not against a movie that mixes dinosaurs and Ice Age animals together...Just NOT here in this franchise. _______________ The undisputed dominant predator of Jurassic Mainframe.

| It’s not entirely out of the question, however my biggest issue is that sabre-toothed cats and other prehistoric mammals are too boring when compared to the dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs can come in all sorts of shape and size, whereas prehistoric mammals are too similar to the animals that we have now. A sabre-toothed cat is just a lion with a pair of oversized canines and a woolly mammoth is just a hairy elephant. | |

| Maybe in a future film if there's a good story, but I'm not sure Jurassic 6 is the right film to do this in. And those hints are bollocks. _______________ Let's work together to #CancelJurassicWorld3 and let this franchise be where it belongs - extinct.
