Could be. Could be anything, really.
To me, the anatomy and coloring more closely resembles a Tyrannosaur though, although I could just be telling myself that to alleviate my fear of my favorite dino being killed off

edit: We also got those pics of the lego sets with an unidentified small brown carnivore that was colored almost exactly like the Rex.
edit #2: Here's a shot that Chris Pugh grabbed. He seems to think it's an Allo. Looks a bit more like it from this angle.

*in best John Hammond impression* And now, after a quarter of a century, the hunter has become the hunted.
That aside, love the nostalgia strings this ad pulls. Plus, I noticed that this Rexy doesn't have any scars. I know this is just a commercial, but why use a new CG model for an ad (and don't throw the Super Bowl excuse at me)?
BTW, best comment on that video I've seen: "Life, uh, finds a Jeep."
Also, I noticed that the dinosaur at the end of the first trailer has an enlarged toe claw.

Mosasaurus is free. The single largest predator the world has seen for several million years is now in our oceans. Then again I did have a pretty nutty theory about Mosasaur DNA to supplement the fossil yields, but I won't get into that.

watched grace rulphdonf and jeremy jahns reaction to the trailer and to no ones surprise, they are not on board with the movie. I especially disagree with grace's comments "nobody wants to see a dinosaur run around some library"

Again, at the end of the trailer (where that guy is attacked) I noticed that the predator had an enlarged toe claw, so I would assume that was Indy.
EDIT- Jurassic Outpost got screencaps.

At this point I think I actually like the iRaptor better than the Masrani Raptors. It's more bestial and nasty like how a Raptor should be. A creature of pure instinct. A survivor unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality. I mean, look at this still. It's every child's nightmare. A clawed hand reaching for you as you hide under the covers...
This thing is channelling the terror of the Xenomorph better than Covenant did!

For all the flack that the Masrani Raptors get, it affirms that they are unique in their own way compared to the previous Raptor packs, being hand-reared and having more of a divergence of sorts from their ancient instincts. To Blue, Owen is the last of her pack. As a concept, it's proven interesting to me an adds more dimension to the Raptor species. There is no doubt that as an antagonist, the Indoraptor is channeling the raw terror the JP Raptors, as creatures bred without any remorse or conscience and possessed of cold instinct. This creature is the worst aspects of the Nublarensis Raptors taken up to eleven, while Blue displays all the better aspects of the Sornaensis Raptors.

Almost every JP fan wants it. JP raptor vibe.
I agree with CT here. I love Indoraptor concept because it takes JP raptors inteligence to another level.

Well, we were terrified watching them run around a kitchen. Why should a library be less scary.

Totally agree. I always saw the Raptor intelligence as more basal than that of primate intelligence. It's more reptilian and primeval than that of primates, at least in the first two movies. I look at it as being more wolf like. The Rick Carter notes confirm this wolf connection (their pack dynamic is explicitly stated to be modelled after wolves). I can't stand when they have chimp level intelligence.

I'm curious as to the amount of people that got super hyped over a 10 second Han Solo teaser after saying the Fallen Kingdom SB spot looked bad.

If you check the numbers on the online viewership, Solo's teaser spot struggled to garner not even half as many views compared to the Fallen Kingdom. I included this in an article I'm writing on the commercials for my Advanced Sports Reporting class.
Quote :
Jeep likewise hit big with a Jurassic sized 2018 Jeep Wrangler commercial featuring Jeff Goldblum and a T. rex. 1992 Jeep Wranglers, of course, were famously portrayed as the staff vehicles of the dinosaur theme park of the first movie. And the Jurass-kicking kept coming from the famous Universal Studios franchise, as a terrifying teaser aired for the next sequel in the series, which garnered 3.56 million views online between Facebook and YouTube. It is the most watched online Super Bowl trailer this year according to Deadline Hollywood. Meanwhile, Lucasfilm's next big Star Wars movie, "Solo" garnered far less online views, with only 778,000 views on social media.
I go on to fret about Solo's questionable performance...
Quote :
Many are finding the Han Solo origin trailer lackluster, with not enough payoff for the long wait time fans have had to endure. Indeed "Solo", which was wrought with production troubles, only has 4 months to market itself to a very on the fence fan base who seem disillusioned with Disney's Lucasfilm after Rian Johnson's critically acclaimed "The Last Jedi" released last December. "The Last Jedi" was marketed over twice as long as "Solo", with its first teaser appearing in April of 2017. Worrisome for one of the biggest franchises in Hollywood.
