Carnotaurus in The Lost World

Do we know if Carnotaurus was ever considered for the film version of The Lost World? Do you think they might have been worth including? Would their camouflage ability have been memorable or silly?

The only thing i know is that a ''Super-Raptor'' was considered and scrapped from the lost world.

There don't seem to be any in the early story boards or concept art in the TLW making-of features.

It's such a natural movie villain, I'm not sure why so far it's only shown up briefly as a punching bag for the Rex.

At that point most people wanted more Rex and Raptors than anything else. Rex and Raptors were still something new considering both species only had a few total minutes of action in the first movie.

I would have loved for a Carnotaurus to get a cameo in that film. That probably mainly stems from that one Compy level from TLW PS1 game.

I always envision that Dieter would have met his end after he'd been harassed by those Compies and lead into the path of that exact Carno from the game, because I'm still not that sold on those little guys taking a *rugged* full-grown man down. And it would've given the island adventure some more variety. Better than gymnastics time!

As cool as it would have been, I almost feel as though a scene similar to the Carno scene in TLW novel may have been a fitting final setpiece for JP3. Perhaps the group doesn't stumble across the old Ingen facility until closer to the end of the film, after the last Spino and last raptor attack. Maybe they set up some sort of beacon in hopes that Ellie received Grant's call and got the message before the phone was lost. The group decides to spend the night in the old Ingen facility, and that's when they run into a couple of Carnos, complete with TLW style cammo ability.
