Eh...as they protect the planet, weren't the Men in Black always international?

Godzilla: King Of The Monsters. Hands-down. I'm interested in no other movie. Not even Avengers 4 interests me at this moment. It's not that I'm turning by back against the MCU. I just want to support something else besides it. And given how the JP franchise died a second time for me, Godzilla is the only other childhood like I have left to support.
Godzillaverse all the way for me.

According to this chart. Viacom, Paramount's mother company, has lost 80% of their value in the past 5 years.
If 2019 isn't a good year for them, RIP Paramount.

My top film for 2019 is easily Detective Pikachu. I wasn't sold at all on the concept when it was first announced, but after the first trailer it finally hit me that we were finally getting a live action Pokemon movie. Regardless of the fact that the film itself is based on a semi-obscure game, it's still the first live action Pokemon film and that's a pretty huge deal. If it does well and gets decent enough reviews, it could open the door to an entire Pokemon cinematic universe, which I would absolutely love to see, as there's an absolute wealth of material to draw from.
I'm somewhat interested in Godzilla as well, as Godzilla was a pretty significant part of my childhood, but after being somewhat disappointed with the first Godzilla, I'm not getting my hopes up.
As far as Marvel goes, I'm pretty much done with it, and I've never been much of a Star Wars fan to begin with.

Maybe if Viacom didn't produce such crap on their TV stations, people would watch them?

Supposedly they've put off the next Star Trek movie indefinitely because they're too broke to pay for it.
And Paramount was a huge studio not so long ago...

Has anyone watched Bird Box yet? I keep seeing the memes referenced on social media and what not and I know what the plot is but haven't really shown any interest in it. Should I?

King of the Monsters (who is King Ghidorah and not Godzilla, btw ) looks like a great film. Am also ready to find out the ongoing story for the MCU, big fan.

Wow! Paramount was mismanaged worse then I ever thought.
Such a shame. Their front gates alone are a Hollywood icon.
Indeed, it's only a matter of time before they go down. Even when their mother company, Viacom remerges with CBS (which will be soon since Les Moonves, the CBS chief who prevented this got fired not long ago via sexual misconduct), all their IP's not named Mission Impossible are stale.
