| Now that we know that the Giganotosaurus will be in the movie, we also know what it looks like. Many like the design, others think it's too monstrous looking. Personally, I like the design...But I think it's for the wrong movie franchise. If anything else, I think it would have been better of as a modernized design for Gorosaurus from the Godzilla franchise. If anything else, they already had a solid design via the Giganotosaurus in Evolution, so I don't see why they didn't go ahead with that. Anyway, that's thoughts. What are yours? Oh. And sorry if the pics wind up being big. I got a new smartphone and I still got a few things worth sorting out. _______________ The undisputed dominant predator of Jurassic Mainframe.

| I like the design but I feel the GA will just mistake it for another Indominus Rex... | |

That's another problem I have. I know that I. rex had T. rex DNA as a base, but it always looked like a kaijufied Giganotosaurus. Far more then this one. More so considering its built-in stealth camo and intelligence. That's another reason why I wanted the JW:E Giganotosaurus. Again, good design, wrong franchise. _______________ The undisputed dominant predator of Jurassic Mainframe.

| At first glance it looks way too similar to the Indominus.
And I think that will be one of the reasons (among others) why this movie will not be well recieved by neither fans nor the general public. It just seems a little bit too similar and repetitive to Jurassic World (and Jurassic Park 3 for that matter).
I just can not picture Colin and Company before writing dominion:
COLIN: "So yeah, guys...It's the six and final film in the saga, any ideas?"
WRITER 1:" Let's try something different"
COLIN: "Nah, let's just make a.movie about another giant therapod being bigger and badder than T Rexes"
WRITER 2: "But Colin we already did that...TWICE...This would be the THIRD. We run the risk of being way toorepetitive (not to mention that concept was hated by many fans because it diminishes how the classic first 2 films established T Rexes as the greatest predators"
COLIN: So yeah, I read about this Giganotosaurus dino, we will just copy paste what we did with the Indominus". | |

| I'm kind of with you on the design, Rhedo. While aesthetically it's pretty cool, it's too dissimilar to the actual animal for me to give it the thumbs up. If anything, it looks a little more like an Acrocanthosaurus to me. _______________ Dinosaurs still rule the earth | |

Now that you mention it, the hump that the JW:D Giganotosaurus has (for some reason) does remind me of an Acrocathosaurus. Heck, if you extended the hump from the base of the neck to the base of tail and gave it a proper head, then it really would make a passible Acro. _______________ The undisputed dominant predator of Jurassic Mainframe.

| I like the design as a genetically modified monster Giga. My main problem is it looks similar to the Indominus. | |

| I think that the Jurassic World-era dinosaurs should have remained true to the style of the dinosaurs in the original trilogy. The Evolution giga isn't too far off from what I think a giganotosaurus would have looked like if it were in the original films. I would remove the row of spines on its back and bulk up the feet a little. For coloration, the tundra or arid skins would fit in nicely. For a point of comparison, the Evolution Giganotosaurus compared to the JP/// Tyrannosaurus rex: (Giganotosaurus image won't embed) https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/jurassicworld-evolution/images/d/da/GigaTundra.png/revision/latest?cb=20200424213903 | |
