Suggestion Box

Not sure if I'm overstepping my bounds here, but oh well.

Here is where you can post suggestions to help improve JPLegends! As long as it isn't nasty (i.e. Delete the forum. It sucks) then you can suggest whatever you think will make it easier and funner. Just keep in mind that not all suggestions will be used.

Sorry to ressurect this dinosaur, but maybe there should be a way for users to identify whether or not this person was a JPL member? Like a sticker that the user could toggle on or off? This might not be possible, but if it is, then that would be nice to see.

The best we could do in that regard is make a little signature image and put it up for download for those who would want it. Which we could do, if enough people want it.

Like a JPL veteran or something badge?

Yeah, but the badge would be in their sig, kind of like how staff on JPL had badges.

I'd be up for that idea. Keep a little bit of the ol' JPL spirit about this place.

Hello everyone, just thought I'd let you all know I'm still alive...

It's been a while! I suggest making an official "Arrival" thread, although technically you're a 4 year veteran.

Personally I'm not into roleplaying, but it would be somewhat interesting if there was a big roleplaying thing similar to Live the Legend.


Though knowing how that turned out and look at the activity in the roleplaying threads right now (as in none), it might not be the best idea.

You can create a custom group with a custom badge that goes where the current post count ones are.

That's something we're working on right now actually. More info about it will be coming soon.

As for the badge issue, putting people into groups doesn't add the badges/ranks, they're separately done (tedious and silly, but that's how the board is set up). I can make an open group for anyone to join, but there wouldn't be any custom rank badges because then the entire post-ranking system would be ignored and a vast majority of users would be the same rank forever. I like the rank progression system and I want it to remain as something used by the majority. Special badges and ranks are something to be reserved for staff and possibly those who earn them (still working on the details for that).

Idea... If you guys are going to make the main portal page as the first thing that loads when you type the sites address, is there a way to make the button on the navigation bar at the top that says "home" say "FORUMS" instead? Took me a while to figure out that its the only button on the entire main page that takes you to the forum index...

not so much a suggestion as an inquiry, but there doesn't seem to be any better place to ask, and i guess depending on how you view it, it could be a suggestion: does discussion of any given canon in their respective forum have to pertain to the actual canon, or are hypothetical discussions allowed? (say, if Ajay didn't die in TLW and what could result from that)

if you want to take this as a suggestion, maybe there could be a general speculation sub-forum?

I can safely say right now that that type of discussion is totally okay. That would go in whatever section it pertains to.
