Terribly sad news, but at least he lived to a grand old age.

Rest in peace, man. Thanks for the amazing childhood memories.

I saw some of the Wallace and Gromit movies on Cartoon Network, in my high school years when it was still good and I liked them.

Would it be fair to compare this to when Charles Schultz died?

i can't say i feel much for this in particular just because i'm not especially familiar with Wallace & Grommit (not that i haven't watched them, mind you), but i imagine many are feeling toward this like i was when Ernest Borgnine (Mermaid Man) or Arthur Anderson (Eustace Bagge) passed away. all of them were well-loved and lived good, long lives.

Rest in Peace Adam West, I got into the 66 batman series a bit later then most, but I really enjoyed them. Especially the revival comic series they did (I have two trades of it so far) He was a great Batman, and I'll miss him.

Thank you so much everyone. TBH I'm not even sure I met her. (We went to different schools and she never showed up to the same family events I did).

But it's terrible for the family and friends around me. Rip

Still not sure if this was a mistake, drunk drive or suicide.

Rest In Peace to my Grandma, she lived a long life and passed away early this morning at the age of 90. I'm glad she's no longer suffering in the hospital like she had been these past few weeks, but she's been with me my whole life, and it's going to be hard without her.

My great grandma 93 and her daughter came to visit me today.

Please PM me or you can even call me by phone if you need to and I'd be happy to talk. I know how I'd feel if l lost my grandmother.

Yep. First thing I saw after coming home from Spider-Man. Rip.

When I first glanced at it my heart actually skipped because I read it as "Stan lee died at 93" and I was like holy crap what timing.

Not taking away from her death of course. I feel very bad for Stan. They were married for 69 years!

Edit: Reddit says 70 years. Not sure.

As someone who was literally thinking of my fond memories of watching the show yesterday, and wondering if they might reboot it as "new blood"(in the future) this was incredibly sad to me Sad

Even when the show got bad he was a pretty great character.

RIP George A.Romero. It saddens me to think how actually close we may be to losing a lot of these icons. Carpenter, Sean Cunningham, Clive Barker, not to mention our acting icons like Robert England, Kane Hodder, Jaime Lee Curtis, etc. are all into their late 50s, mid-60s, or even older, and while I still see some good, itll never be the same.

It's unfortunate, but we are coming to an end of an era, I feel. The horror genre hasn't been the same since the 80s. These recent years have only solidified it.

"I always thought of the zombies as being about revolution, one generation consuming the next." — George Romero
Everything about this man was so progressive and forward thinking. I remember as a young kid being super impressed that he cast a black man as his main hero in the masterpiece of a film, night of the living dead.
He's got other masterpieces but that one is special to me just because it feels so revolutionary.
