They're still being made, in low budget form, but most of them are done to be bad in purpose, which takes away the fun.

One of them was directed by James Cameron in his debut though. Never saw it

The best Piranha movie is still the James Cameron classic "Piranha 2: The Spawning". It has flying piranha's!!!!!

I'm hoping that it's a secret lab that Hoskins made for Wu so that he could secretly have Wu make/test his super-hybrids for the military. After all, Hoskins did hide quite a bit from Masrani so it wouldn't be too hard to believe all this.

Looks like it could be that tunnel/bunker Clint was talking about to Claire in the leaked audition tape from late last year. Maybe we will get tunnel scenes in this film inspired by some of the original novel scenes?

I hope it's a bunker complex somewhere in mainland. Everything that minimizes time spent on those islands is welcomed.

For a second, I was worried it's the old visitor center, but it doesn't look like it. I think it's a bunker designed to be somewhat inconspicuous.

Part of me wonders if its the entrance to the "secure location" Hoskins sent Wu to.

Guys, this is a bit off-topic but what do you think about the movie opening 2 weeks earlier in the United Kindgom (June 07)? Could this affect the movie box office? And how the general audience will avoid big spoilers?

Well I'm kind of scared by the potential spoilers during the gap between US & UK release. But then again, we Americans have it so good with release dates, it's about time we try being 2nd in line.

Pardon the double post. But I feel this is pretty interesting. We need to find out what language, and then it should be easy. We could start with what languages Bryce knows, and who even knows that?

Well I mean I absolutely hate it because I'm a bias American. The wait will be crushing, and there is no way I'll be be able to avoid spoilers. I don't think it'll change box office at all. Other films open USA before foreign all the time and I don't see it ruining the money.

The GA avoiding big spoilers will probably be based on who you follow on Twitter, and stuff like that. And of course you'll want to stay away from any forums that talk about movies.

Edit: how much is it to fly down to the UK and back? I'm legitimately considering this.

That concrete building might just be the place where the Gyrospheres are stored for the park, and I have a sneaking feeling that we might see at least one of the vehicles in a possible scene/sequence in the movie.

Whatever happened to Omar Sy being in these sequels by the way? IIRC at the time of JW's release they were saying how he could keep appearing in the next installments next to Owen, as his buddy or something. Has that been buried for good? I mean I don't mind since I thought his character was bland and brought nothing interesting to the table.

It's safe to say that he'll be back in some form. I just think that all the talk about Jeff Goldblum coming back may have overwhelmed that talk for now.

Jeff Goldblum: Off I go in a few weeks to London, where they’ve been hard at work, and I’ll try to contribute something to the plate of dino-entertainment. I like my character. I think my character is a saucy, sassy man of some integrity and deep thinking. And of course, that whole world continues to be popular, slam-bang, top entertainment. I talked to the director, J.A. Bayona, over the phone. I enjoyed his movie The Impossible with Naomi Watts, and he’s something else. I didn’t realize he was a good friend of a friend of mine, a director I worked with a while ago in Spain named Fernando Trueba, who’s just fantastic. Knowing that the two of them are brethren and brotherly in their friendship makes me feel very good, too. Even though some might say it’s popcorn-y entertainment (top-notch, of course), in our conversation he was very focused on the serious issues of greed as it oftentimes comes up in those movies, and the marvels of science and reason and the very fascinating point at which our species finds itself both in real life and in this imaginary world too. I’m very interested in that myself, so I’m looking forward to this. I’ve got a few things to do. I’m nothing if not conscientious, so I’m enjoying working on it every day.

Barry isn't coming back. And I'm glad for it. I think his character is useless.

By the way, Jeff might have a good amount of time in JW2. We'll see.
