I'm leaning on the it will simply die offscreen, but i wonder if that does happen, will we get a character to confirm that in film. This site has made the wait for news/stills/trailer much more bearable. Just hope we get something soon but with rumors of an avengers infinity war trailer on the 29th, then the trailer for pacrim uprsing and possibly the last jedi trailer coming out around the beginning of october makes it seem likely that we will not get stills or promotional material till maybe mid to late october. It would suck if we have to wait till thanksgiving to get anything.

So Mattel released an early image of their Rex toy head. I hope this that this doesn't mean the toy is hard plastic, but still, the head looks absolutely phenomenal!

Yeah, I saw that on the JP Facebook group. I like the look on that. It reminds me of the Thrasher T. rex, but with a larger, Venom style tongue. If this is hard plastic, then hopefully they make it thick/durable enough. Not saying much at this point, but it's a good start.

Might actually buy a figure this time around. The head sculpt looks fantastic.

That proto looks sweet. It seems that's the Rexy they showed in the licensor expo, but I've read somewhere that they will sell it as "Thrash 'N Throw T-Rex". I wonder which design team is on the head of the line.

I. rex had a thumb too and it was implied that it had simian DNA. I hope this is the closest Universal does to introducing Homocraptors. Because if they go with this further, it's going to become Super Mario Bros. 2.0.

Now that's an unpleasant visual. And most long-time fans think they're already pushing their luck with the addition of yet another hybrid theropod.

lol with the backlash that one script with half human hybrids got, I highly doubt we would see that concept see the light of day, at least not to the extent that we got in that script.

At this point, I'm more convinced then ever that the only way how the fanbase would want another hybrid theropod is if Universal ret-cons the JP3 Spino as a T. rex/Spinosaurus hybrid.

Somebody shared this link on one of the other threads that have a list of rumours about the film. I have no idea how accurate they are or if they're just nonsense but be warned, they could be potential spoilers.

Me too. If that happens, then I do hope that she can still be able to be a mother. If we never see her again after JW:FK, then I would like to see a biological heir. At this point, I just want Rexy to have a happy ending and for the Sorna movies to kept as hard canon.

On the other side of the coin, I find it a little odd that Pachyrhinosaurus might be in that one scene via the lava. I'm not against it per se, but, and I know I said this on the JW:FK Dinosaur list topic, given how iconic Triceratops is yet how little screen time it had, shouldn't it be used instead?

I’m not upset by this at all or even shocked. But it still shows a potential for the spoiler train to keep on going.

But it’s still saddening and stunning to think that the biggest shock or mystery of this film will probably still end up being the title..... I really hope the marketing leaves some scenes to our imagination. Like if they end up showing a lot of the mansion stuff I’ll be pretty disappointed.

But at the same time they have to market aggressively because of competition.

yeah the indoraptor cage on the marketing merchandise does not make me hopeful that they will resist the temptation to stay away from third act stuff.

So basically I think Chris said on twitter that he thinks Toby must die in the opening if he just casually dropped a spoiler like that.
