But if it means DC gets a plague of SJW moron writers, they are in for a world of hurt.
I don't think DC will allow all of those same writers-maybe a very few, but not most/all-to infest their comic book division. They are still trying to fix their movieverse and their comic branch is still doing very well and is KILLING Marvel's. They don't need to ruin a good thing.

It looks like Jean Grey will kill off one member of the X-Men when she becomes the Dark Phoenix.
Jude Law will be playing as the original Captain Marvel.

Well if you read the comic for the arc they're going in this movie, she gets put on trial and basically sentenced to death for killing like half an alien race or something.

I think it's actually a whole solar system, or at least a planet. The only way how Marvel could have saved her was if she basically committed suicide, which they had her do...until they brought her back which made it pointless.
I don't have faith in this movie, since the director of it is Simon Kinburg, who was one of the major players in Fant4stic, but at least this movie sounds ambitious.

I guess I’m going to be “that” guy. The movie looks very exciting and is a day 1 watch but nothing really moved me or got me extremely hyped from the trailer.
Although it’s important to note I’m not a big comic book movie fan and I’m getting a bit tired of them.
They’ve been working for hard for this moment, I hope it’s an awesome film.

I do wish that it was been CGI enhanced rather then pure CGI, but I don't think the CGI is that bad.

How many MCU movies have you seen? Because, I've seen quite a bit.

Right off hand the only ones I have not seen(that I can think of) have been Doctor Strange. GOTG2 and The new Thor.

The trailer isn't as exciting as I thought it would be. Regardless, I'm still hyped as hell for this, can't wait to watch it!

And Star Wars? Will Fox give up their distribution rights to ANH, which has been preventing Disney from releasing the theatrical cut?
I REAAALLLLY hope they don't ruin Deadpool. That was one of Fox's golden hits with the X-man movies. I also wonder if Fox will retain distribution rights with the movies they've already made.

Will probably stay with Fox. I don't see Disney wanting them.

Considering how the deal cost Disney $60 billion, I don't see how Fox could have refused to give up the rights to ANH.

To be honest, I'm surprised that Universal didn't try to buy ANY of those IP's.

Hugh Jackman says that when it comes to replaying Wolverine for the MCU, "the ship has sailed."
That's just as well. Logan is still so loved by the fanbase, that him coming back for the MCU would have cheapened it. I can see him staring in a cameo appearance, but not as Wolverine.
