| Like most of today's animals, dinosaurs communicated with each other in various ways such as sound and colouration. For example, male peacocks use their beautifully-patterned brightly-coloured tails to attract the attention of a potential mate. It's possible that dinosaurs like Stegosaurus, Triceratops and Spinosaurus had bright colours on their plates, sails and neck shields to attract the attention of females. Dinosaurs like Parasaurolophus had hollow crests on their heads. Perhaps the crests were brightly-coloured or may have been used to make their calls louder.
Let's talk about it. | |
