| Say there was to be a seventh film that served as an epilogue to the series, taking place ten years after the sixth film, (you can come up with any plot you'd want to see), who would you want working on the film, and who would you want in the cast?
Here's my dream-team:
Director: Dan Trachtenberg Cinematography: Roger Deakins Screenwriter: Taylor Sheridan Music: Michael Giacchino
Cast:
Josh Brolin- Sam Hartman, former ACU trooper at Jurassic World who quit some time before the 2015 Isla Nublar Incident. Now works for U.S. Fish & Wildlife in Montana. (Before working at Jurassic World, he was a SWAT operative for Billings, Montana.)
Audrey Tautou- Joëlle Lacroix, a French-Canadian biologist.
Daniel Kaluuya- Howard King, a park ranger at Glacial National Park.
John Goodman- Marcus Tunney, CEO of Tunney Pharmaceuticals, a pharmaceutical company.
Kate Mara- Jacqueline Rossiter, Vice-President of Tunney Pharmaceuticals.
Melonie Diaz- Rosa Bautista Benítez, also known as "R.B.", assistant biologist with Lacroix.
Igor Jijikine- Anatoly Brezhnev, Russian mercenary.
Josh Stewart- Richard Kent, Anatoly's right hand man.
Premise- 10 years after humans have finally adjusted to dinosaurs living in the global ecosystem, cloning of extinct fauna and amber mining have been heavily regulated.
The dinosaur population of Glacier National Park (who have adapted fairly well to winter) has been routinely monitored. However, Sam Hartman and Howard King have noticed a decline in population, and are not sure of the cause.
Marcus Tunney, of Tunney Pharmaceuticals, has been researching the InGen dinosaur genomes, hoping to use their base genome, and replace the sequence gap fillers with their orignal DNA to create genetically pure dinosaurs in the hopes that he can create a compound that can lead the way to a cure for skeletal diseases and disorders.
While he has been (secretly) acquiring amber from amber mines, to replace the original InGen genomes, his board of directors are not happy with the slow progress, as is Vice President Jacqueline Rossiter. Marcus argues that the time it will take to perfect the compound will be outweighed by effects of finding a cure for things such as brittle bone disease and bone cancer. Tunney believes that the lack of respect for time and perfection was InGen's downfall.
Marcus Tunney has used the InGen genomes, combined with his discovered DNA strands, to create genetically pure dinosaurs. He believes that a genetically pure dinosaur would create a much better result for the compound than the InGen dinosaurs with mixed DNA.
Meanwhile, deciding to use faster results, Rossiter has been overseeing a project to utilize the original InGen strains, intending to capture wild dinosaurs, rather than taking DNA samples as Tunney has been doing. She plans on breeding subsequent dinosaurs selectively for traits that would benefit the research's goals.
A mercenary team is sent to Glacier National Park to capture dinosaurs, covertly (disguised as Fish & Wildlife officers), and ultimately clash with a biologist team (Lacroix and R.B.), who are captured.
Hartman and King lead an investigation and later conduct an operation to re-capture the dinosaurs and return them to the national park.
However, the dinosaurs escape capture, and together with their genetically pure dinosaurs, run amok among the Tunney pharmaceuticals facility.
InGen-cloned animals: * Allosaurus * Ankylosaurus * Parasaurolophus * Sinoceratops * Stegosaurus * Triceratops * Tyrannosaurus rex (not Rexy) * Velociraptor (not Blue)
Tunney Pharmaceuticals-cloned animals: * Allosaurus fragilis * Ankylosaurus magniventris * Dakotaraptor steini * Diabloceratops eatoni * Dimetrodon angelensis * Diplodocus carnegii * Gorgonops longifrons * Ornithosuchus woodwardi * Pachycephalosaurus wyomingensis * Quetzalcoatlus northropi * Sinoceratops zhuchengensis * Stegosaurus ungulatus * Stenonychosaurus inequalis * Struthiomimus altus * Triceratops horridus * Tyrannosaurus rex * Zuul crurivastator
Notes: * No child characters (didn't feel there was a need for one.)
* InGen-cloned dinosaurs are depicted as being more aggressive than their genetically-pure brethren who are only aggressive out of fear and self-preservation.
* Longest film in the franchise at 2h30m.
* A bit of a slow-burn film, think adventure-thriller.

| Increasingly, I want to see a prequel film set before the main films, featuring Hammond, Lockwood, Wu, and Sorkin for good measure, showcasing inGen's early days and the creation of the first few genetic hybrids. Not an action-thriller or a 'gothic horror' with dinosaurs killing people, deserved or otherwise, but a film focused on showcasing everything behind building Hammond's dream before it came crashing down. There's a very human story there.
If done correctly, it could strengthen Jurassic Park - if you can build a lot of sympathy for what they were truly trying to achieve, the opportunities they opened up, before Malcolm and co. show up and expose how wrong it is, you could create something really interesting. _______________ Let's work together to #CancelJurassicWorld3 and let this franchise be where it belongs - extinct.

That is another cool idea, which I think would better serve as a Netflix series. (Only because a more human-driven JP story wouldn't make for a great film, but as a television series, you have a lot more room to expand on the characters. And with Netflix, you don't really have to worry about time slots, or competition with other shows.

That could very well be interesting but I'm cautious about serialized storylines' habit of being dragged to make an episode count.

| I really wish there was a movie made with the clear intent of being a closing chapter to the Jurassic Park franchise with Grant and Sattler back as the main characters, using some of the untouched stuff from the novels, like dinosaurs being found on Costa Rica jungles, prionic disease, camouflaging Carnotaurus, Dodgson as the main villain, etc.
Back in the months preceding Fallen Kingdom's release, I toyed with the idea of writing a fan-screenplay in Fade In for an alternate Jurassic Park III (called Jurassic Park III: Outbreak) using those ideas (among others), but I kind of put the idea to rest once Fallen Kingdom hit the theaters. Maybe I'll touch it again in the future.
Music-wise, I'm really curious what a score by Bear McCreary or Alexandre Desplat would be like for a JP movie. It would also be awesome to have Djimon Hounsou, Rebecca Hall, Woody Harrelson or Dan Stevens cast in one of these movies. _______________ "In the end, it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex."
"Try to imagine yourself in the Late Quaternary. You get your first look at this six-foot Psittacosaurus as you enter a city. You stay still, because you think that maybe its visual acuity is based on movement. Maybe it's not all that bright. But no... not Homo sapiens. You stare at it, and it stares right back at you. And that's when it starts shooting you with this... THE GUN!" - Dr. Mongoliensis
