| Have you ever wanted to make a game? Need to know a good engine? Need help with coding? Want to share something you've made? Then post it here with the rest of the community! Game Maker to CryEngine you've got it all here! So here are some basic steps to making a game! PART 1- Introduction - Plan! You always need a basic route and plotline!
Take your time! Unless you've set yourself a specific date then don't be in a hurry! Talk to friends! If they have time then ask them to help with you! Start drawing! Try to draw up some scenes from your game! TITLE! Google the name of your game to see if it's already taken! Learn! Make sure your team has skills to Code, Texture, Animate, Model, Write, and plan! Sing! You don't have to sing a full song but try thinking of a theme song or a tune for your game! Prepare! Get your team ready and sort out their positions in the team!
PART 2- Game Engines [list][*]Engines- These are your new best friend! These allow you to create scenes, menus, and the terrain of your game! Look around! Look for different game engines that suit your style! YouTube! If you're new to using your Game Engine then take a look at some tutorials! Level Design! When painting textures for your game you must remember; You are an artist! Painting a map requires many different combinations of textures and models! | |

| @Poke: No offense but the school's game stuff usually sucks. Might want to stay away from that...
