RIP Ruby

Sad to say my 9-year-old cat, Ruby, passed away last weekend.

I'm really sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is never easy. It took me 2 years before I got over the death of my first dog, even more so since I never had the chance to say goodby to him. Hopefully, you have photos of Rudy and you so you will always have Ruby's memories with you.

Got Ruby's ashes back this week. She's in a nice little wooden box with a photo on the top, similar to the one my dog's ashes are in. Hopefully, soon, I'll be able to adopt another cat (or maybe two).

I feel your pain, my friend. Had to put my dog down in June and it was one of the hardest things to do.

It's definitely not easy saying goodbye to a much-loved pet, but I'm glad I was able to give Ruby a happy home. Perhaps, one day soon, I'll be able to give another cat a happy place to live. I think that's what Ruby would want.
