I saw the Secret life of pets the other day and unexpectedly noticed a possible reference to TLW when the truck went off a bridge and stuck vertically in the scaffolding. At first I thought the cracking glass was just a coincidence but after the hanging from the bottom of the truck I was fairly sure it was intended.

Pretty obvious and famous, but Martin Ferrero reprising his role as Gennaro on that College Humor Originals short has been one of my favorites ever since it came out, even if the humor is pretty cheap. It's just nice to see him back.



It's a shame we haven't seen Martin in almost anything for years now btw, IMO his 80's portrayal in Miami Vice as Izzy Moreno is one of the greatest ever. It really shows talent when you can go from that whacko character (and accent!) to ENTIRELY different, almost monotone lawyer in JP. Too bad people like Goldblum have kinda laughed at him too in recent years interviews, although when he was guest sometime ago on podcast he downplayed it as nothing.

Goldblum was on Conan this week, along with Coyote Peterson, a YouTube Personality famous for letting himself be stung by dangerous insects. Coyote is clearly a fan of a certain film, just listens to the thing she says:

Yeah. I'm a really big fan of his style of humor, but sometimes I find his random "cut away" scenes.... well, a bit too random and jarring.

This isn't really a reference r cameo, but has anyone seen the new trailers for The Mummy? There's a a scene that looks like Cruise and the female lead driving through a dark forest in an ambulance. It looks extremely similar to the scene from Jurassic World, including a Mummy crashing through a window close to the lead's face.

I just got that TV spot! Definitely reminds me of JW you're not alone.
