Pop Up Ads

I don't know about anyone else, but I've been getting a butt load of fraud pop up ads here. Can we fix this?

I have as well. Mostly in the evening and not nearly as much during the day (Eastern Time)

I'm running with Adblock and I'm not having any problems. Try installing one of those extensions.

Yeah, I've had problems with it on mobile. Not sure what all we can do about it, I've checked the settings for this forum and all it says is for on-site ads. I tried it right now and nothing came up, so I dont know what to say.

Just had one a couple of days ago that pretended to be some sort of ransomware attack. Didn't fall for it, thankfully.

Alright bump.

I had this problem a long time ago when LK posted this but it went away. I’m having the same problem again but with a different ad. It’s taking everything I have to just type this quickly and get it here.

Have not tried on desktop. Mobile that’s acting up again. Seems to hit hard when I go to post something.

Can someone please acknowledge they see this complaint even if you can’t do anything. Thank you.

Thx man. It's this one specific ad i think that looks new. Every time i see it at the top i know i am screwed. Not sure if it's an ad that might just pass and go away or not.

I am actually viewing the desktop version in mobile. It appears to only be happening in Safari when a very specific ad pops up at the top. If I refresh the page and it’s a different ad things seem fine lol.

I will see how it goes over the next few days and update you if that's okay. Maybe it’ll go away as quickly as it came. Thanks.

I think I’ll continue using my regular setup right now as I’ve been on a hour and haven’t had it pop up yet. It seems to come and go over the past 2 days.

I suspect it’s a very specific ad that has been cycled through that is causing the issue and that it’ll be gone eventually. Because when I see the ad at the top it’s always a very specific one that does it. This happened to another site I was on about 2-3 months ago. And then it just vanished.
