I was reading through Jurassic Park for the second time, and I noticed something I missed the first time around. On page 47 of my copy, it mentions Procompsognathus amassicus as a possible species for the "lizard" x-ray that Grant is asked to identify. Does anyone know what this is? I can find nothing about it on the Internet. Is it just something Crichton made up or somehow got confused with something else?
