Figured they'd go here over any other place since they'd count as "Other literature".
Gonna say as weird as the Topps comics could be (namely it's Raptor series' very inconsistent art style), I actually rather did like it as it seemed like a real attempt to make a sequel to Jurassic Park before anyone knew The Lost World was ever coming. And it's to my knowledge, the only media before JP3 that actually had dinosaurs on Isla Nublar getting onto the mainland.

I've always wondered about the IDW comics. I've heard they're horrible though.

They're real hit or miss, sometimes literally changing issue to issue. Over all I'd actually say the Topps comics were better, but if only because many of the Topps comics were 1-shot stories instead of extended arcs, which I feel better suits the medium.
