UPDATE

Channel Awesome finally released a response to the controversy...and it's a 'he said, she said' thing which only makes them look even worse.

Most have deduced that Michaud was the one who made this. It really is amazing to see how he keeps making himself look more dumber by the day.

Most of their contributors have left the site ever since the Google document came out last week. Before this came out, they used to have 48 contributors. Now, it's just 7. Brad Jones and Bennett The Sage are the only other major contributors left, not counting the Walkers.

This thing isn't the Titanic sinking, it's like the Japanese battleships Yamato and Musashi getting pounded to the ocean floor by American aircraft

Also only Brad and Guru Larry are left on Channel Awesome now. And rumors are saying Brad may be gone.

Guru Larry has claimed that he's the only contributor-besides the Walkers-left. If Brad Jones did leave, then I'm surprised that he stayed on this long. Considering how he took in Allison after she got fired by Michaud for a dumb reason and Phelous-he quit in protest of Allison getting fired-back in early 2015, one would think he would have quit then. Yet, he stayed on. I'm amazed that he stayed on as long as he did.

Here's some updates on the Channel Awesome debacle.

1. Brad Jones did indeed quit CA on Thursday. He removed all traces of CA from his bios.

2. Doug Walker,his brother Rob have also quit. On his bios on his FB and Twitter pg, it says "Worked on Channel Awesome."

3. His aides, Malcolm Ray and Tamara Chambers have also quit.

4. All 4 of them have supposedly lawyered up.

5. Doug and Rob are planning to leave social media for a while.

6. The site will only stay on for 2 more weeks or so, but that's only because he pre-made 2 NC-videos. Brad is the same way.

7. Former contributor, Count Jackula/real name Jack Shen-he quit last year long before this started, saw JewWario in a disheveled and agitated state in the lobby where he sexually assaulted that one woman in one of his YouTube videos. He didn't know what happened at the time, but now that what's come out came out, he believes the allegations/conclusions of him being the rapist/groomer.

8.In a much brighter note, Guru Larry is the only contributor that's still on Channel Awesome. Guru Larry is the last man standing and he was forgotten by the higher ups.

Bill Cosby has been found guilty of rape in his retrial. He's going to serve up to 30 years in prison.

Good.

It makes you wonder if WGN and a few other TV stations will still show Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids and The Cosby Show.

So the Walkers and their aides, Malcolm and Tamara, haven't quit Channel Awesome. Instead, the Walkers and Michaud think that if they rebrand CA as Nostalgia Critic and weather the storm for a bit longer, then everything will be OK...As if anybody else will join in after what just happened this whole month.

Good luck getting new contributors.

I'm just shocked and dismayed that Malcolm and Tamara haven't gotten the hit and jumped ship, let alone the fact that Michaud is still with them. I think they've set themselves on a downward spiral that won't be buoyed by anyone.

I'm even more surprised that Brad Jones is also on this sinking ship. He brought in Allison-who got fired for being late 5 minutes for a phone call or something and was treated poorly by Rob Walker-and Phelous-who quit in protest, he has his own stuff, and is big enough not to need CA. Wait, I thought Glenn Jacobs was a Libertarian? Guess he made the switch in order to have a better shot. I realize third party candidates usually don't stand a chance in any sort of race, but I kinda wish he'd stuck to his guns.

Like it or not, the 2 party system is simply to institutionalized in the U.S.A. for a true 3rd party to take over. Trying to take over/be part of one and influence people from there is more or less the only way.

Indeed, and to be fair, the newer wave of Conservatives do seem to be adopting a bit more of a Libertarian mindset, while the old theocratic tendencies seem to be dying out, which is imho a good thing.

I wouldn't say 'theocratic tendencies' as so much as I would call it pro-religion tendencies.


Back to Channel Awesome. It looks like Doug and Rob Walker both decided to stay with Michaud until the bitter end on their own free will.
