Not going to lie, was massively disappointed with EA's E3 presentation this year. It was just trailers for trailers, and announcements for announcements. No true game play in sight with the exception of Battlefield 1. I was pumped for Mass Effect: Andromeda, Titanfall 2, etc., yet all we got was "we are still making them, here is a tease". Such a waste of time.
Here is hoping Bethesda drops some big bombs to make up for the ball EA dropped.

I'd be very happy to have either a HD Skyrim or a new Elder Scrolls title all together. As for the Crash news, that's a bit disappointing to me. I was hoping that if they were going to bring him back they would do it in the sort of style as Crash Twinsanity; semi open world with a good humorous story.

God that EA segment sucked. Battlefield looks awesome, but otherwise? It was sports and "look what we're making...but we're making it so nothing to see here."

Here's the Battlefield 1 gameplay trailer if anyone missed it:
Somewhat disappointing music choice aside, my full $80 prepurchase of the Deluxe edition seems to now be validated, especially after watching the nearly hour-long live gameplay stream they did after the conference.
As for EA's thing as a whole, it was pretty boring and I really don't care for sports games. Titanfall 2 looks nice, so I might pick it up if it's post-launch reception is good. I'm now super hype for Bethesda's conference, as I am hoping the Skyrim remaster rumors/leaks are true. Here's to hoping. Tomorrow's gonna be fun as well. E3 is like second Christmas for me.

Everybody here is excited for a Skyrim remaster, and here I am waiting on Dishonored 2.
BF1 looks epic tho, I am almost worried that my computer won't run this one (it had trouble with ME:C, but Battlefront ran fine). Titanfall 2 looks like an improvement, I am hoping this one doesn't die a sad lonely death like the last one. Everything else in the EA presentation with a big pile of meh, even what little they showed us of ME:A. Tho I thought that Fe, Fei, F something cute purple game looked cool, looks like another Journey but this time not console exclusive.

Skyrim Special Edition for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC announced!
If you own the PC version with all add-ons OR own the Legendary Edition, you can upgrade for free. I'll be picking this up on my Xbox and can't wait for the glorious mods. I wish I could upgrade for free too, seeing as how I own all of the DLCs for the 360 version. But for Todd Howard, I'll do anything. RIP my social life this fall, as this game comes out a week after Battlefield 1.

*Head explodes upon seeing upgraded Skyrim* Wow, it looks amazing! I didn't have a strong enough PC to get that version to acess the graphical mods/other mods so this is like a dream.
Question, did they say how you would get it for free? I own the ps3 legendary edition but I'm curious as to how the transaction would go.

Getting it for free is only for people who own the game on Steam along with all of the expansion packs (or alternatively the Legendary Edition). Sadly console folk have to repurchase it.

Dead rising 4 looks like a Christmas game, and that excites me. I love Christmas-time, and that trailer played right into that. Cannot wait to see it.

BF1's gameplay was some good sh*t, and also some dank sh*t (https://clips.twitch.tv/ea/EagerQuailDendiFace)
Dishonored 2's presenation was a very good and an honest one and I really like the direction they took. Tho some of the animation transitions did look janky and unfinished, but I'd rather see that than no gameplay at all. This is the kind of stuff that will hopefully be fixed.
The Fallout 4 DLC looks cool, tho I wish the vanilla game didn't butcher a lot of what I liked about the series in favor for the settlement building system, but the content they keep making seems very solid. Skyrim's Special Edition..ah...I already played that on my PC with ENB mods, this will be great for any one with a next-gen console and hasn't played Skyrim yet. Me? I played Skyrim to the death, enough to realize that even with all the DLC, it was a vast ocean but one that doesn't get much deeper than a puddle (replaying it after finishing Dark Souls was such a pain), I don't intend to swim in the puddle again now that I've already saw all that it has to offer, especially now that I learned to swim.
Quake Legends is a game I am not so sure about. Quake is back, yay right? But its seems like they are bringing classes to Quake. This is something that I need to see for myself to say if it works well for Quake, and more importantly, if it keeps the core Quake gameplay Quake. We already have two other class-based shooters, and here we go, its a third. I thought we could get good old Quake, everybody spawns at the same footing, pick up the weapons on the map, and proceed to fight over the rest.
I am not super hopeful for Ubisoft's E3, but its going on as we speak, so we will see.

^ Dark Souls will do that to you . Once you get used to the fairly advanced combat tactics of the Souls games a lot of other medieval style game combat seems too simple. But in my opinion Skyrim's combat system works for what it is trying to accomplish.
But I do agree, the Skyrim remastered is essentially fan service to anyone who hasn't played it on the PC. And honestly, I personally enjoyed it so much that I will be a huge fan boy and go out and buy it again .

Agreed. Skyrim's combat is a prettied up dps race, but it isn't the kind of combat that completely puts me off a game (I hated Morrowind's RNG 'oh the dice roll decided that you missed' combat system).

So Im a bit conflicted now. Ive been firm in my stance to not buy Infinity War (or really any CoD that doesnt have zombies), but after seeing that gameplay at E3 I dont know what to do. It looks extremely promising, but lord help me if Im just being tricked into buy a turd thinking its a diamond.

Oh my gosh I'm dying of Crash hype. Mainly for the remasters though... I hope they sell the Skylander separately.

Hm, you could try waiting a bit. I haven't been following COD since the original Black Opps but I'm guessing it's coming out around November/December? If so, wait for some reviews and or watch some videos of it on Youtube. If you wait until after the release there should be enough videos of the game for you to get a feel of it you might like it or not.

Tbh that's probably what Ill end up legitimately doing anyways. Im not pre ordering it at all, but depending on how reviews and opinions on it say come Nov. (I think its Nov.) I may get it, which is a big deal for me personally. Ive always hated CoD (not including Black Ops Zombies).
Overall, everyone but EA really brought their A game to E3 so far. Im really considering getting a lot of these games, and even the Xbox One S. Let's see how Nintendo does tomorrow.

I don't know if I'm mad with Sony/Activision or happy bc I finally got some Crash news.
When I heard the music and saw the background on the stage I went wild like "OMG A NEW GAME, IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING". I saw the audience go wild too and then I got the news tha it was a "remaster being made from ground 0"...My hype droped and I went full rage.
Crash Bandicoot is my childhood icon, and I've waited years to see it back. The very fact that the first 3 games (they're amazing, you can't beat ND's Crash) got a remake (since Sony exec said they're making it from ground 0) makes me happy and I really wish this is a test to see if they actually sell well so we'll get a new game after. I'll buy it if it's physical copy even if I don't have a PS4, bc I want a new Crash game so bad.
I hope if it happens, Sony buys the IP or team up with Activision so there won't be a risk we'll get another Mind over the mutant trash.
I just hope it sells well and they make a new game, that will bitchslap those Crash haters and make them eat crow for mocking Crash fans. I'm sure a lot of ppl still like the games. Crash games sold a lot on PS1, one of the best selling PS1 franchises.
The Skylanders design doesn't look bad to me, many ppl said it's horrible, but heh, I think they must read more about Crash since the design reminds the original design from ND's game. I always loved the unique way Crash looked, he was kinda crazy, fun and dumb too. It's better than that tatoo crap they did years ago.
