Mattel now has the Jurassic Park license.

Didn't see this coming, but maybe we'll get some quality stuff now.

I do hope they keep stuff in scale with the old toys. I can't expect it, but it'd be nice.

Lets hope. I haven't been impressed by a single Jurassic Park or Jurassic World toy since the TLW line.

People will get happy now until the finished product and they'll hate it, lol.

Heh, just realized, if the Hybrids don't get released, that means it's the second time Hasbro killed JP with an unfinished hybrid line.

You're right!

YES! Hasbro deserves this to happen to them. Over a decade and a half of crap, cheap plastic toys from them. Hopefully Mattel will give these toys the respect they deserve. I know the days of HQ sculpts, latex rubber coated JP dino toys are behind us. We'll never see those again, but we may at least get decent quality sculpts with good paint apps and recognizable likenesses. All those things we were guaranteed not to get with Hasbro.

Actually, scratch that, the knock offs were BETTER. Hasbro made Hasbro quality toys.

To be fair, they made a few good toys. Like the Stomp and Strike T. rex toy, the Chomping I. rex toy, and a few of the others are still pretty good too like the remodeled Bull T. rex and the 2011 Allosaurus. That being said, these really were the exceptions to the rule and a change really was needed.

Considering how Hasbro completely bombed the JW line, this COULD BE great news! I know Mattel doesn't have a great track record, but it shouldn't be too hard to do something that's a step up from the JW line.

I mean, no guarantees the JW2 line will be any better, but at least there's hope now.

I'm glad that Hasblow has lost the license and I'm not a Mehttel fan, but TBH I doubt that mattel figures will be worse than the hasbro JW figs, that said I won't get my expectations too high either.
