Hoskins seems pretty forward with his devotion to InGen in JW. He seemed to be doing what he thought was best for the future of the company.

Anywho, it seems Goldblum wrapped after a week of filming. More than a cameo, but certainly not a major role.

Yeah, well why anyone thought it would be more then a brief appearance i will never know.

Oh the world turns around fast. Seems like minor role but might be important. I'm fine with it. Let other characters shine.

A small but pivotal role for Malcolm sounds about right, more than a cameo possibly but less than a supporting role.

Looks like the vest is back(new vest by looks of it). Glad hes not just wearing a shirt.

I don't like it. It's generic. If they ruin the other characters I'll be mad.

Does anyone else feel disappointed by the dinosaur roster? Carnivores aside, it seems confined to what we've already seen plus a stygimoloch. I was honestly hoping for the plot to involve other dinosaur breeders outside the island who have been secretly operating for years. That way we could have never before seen species. That seems like it's been entirely avoided.

If they ever go back to Sorna, explore one of the other islands, or do a mainland plot again, then I'd like to see other dinosaurs.

I'd have liked some more exotic dinos as well. I'm still waiting for Therizinosaurus, a made-for-the-movies dinosaur if ever there was one.

Anyone else curious about the 2 versions of Main Street they have built thus far? The England version looked like it could have been just days since the JW incident. The Oahu sets are aged to look like years have passed.

Maybe somebody goes to Nublar right after it is evacuated for something that will be pivotal to this films plot. I wonder if that Helicopter scene they filmed in England ties into some sort of flashback or prologue.

well the london set and the hawaii set were different parts of the same mainstreet (i think). I guess some parts of the mainstreet are just more rundown. I don't think we would get any flashbacks.

Actually I received confirmation that they are indeed 2 different sets depicting 2 different time periods, which explains the difference in the overgrowth.

I think we are going to see a scene right after JW events where a group of military mercenaries (InGen or Lockwood probably) comes back to the island.

According to Reel Tours Hawaii filming wraps up this Friday 7th July so that means FK shot from :

February 23rd - July 7th (& roughly 90 days vs JW's 78 days) so hopefully we can expect a film around 5-10mins longer than JW.

runtime and pacing are two things i worry about. I hope its a longer film so that nothing feels rushed and that we get time to breathe but if it is long then i worry that the film may drag and have pacing issues. I hope they can nail the pacing

Well this is a plot twist...but it does make a lot of sense.

I heard about that scene before but i was always under the impression that it took place in the middle of the movie. If its true that mainstreet will appear in two different time periods then that scene makes sense in the beginning.

Similar to how the opening Egg scene in Jurassic World happens months before any of the other events in the film.
