Also, this Dilo looks like a juvenile like we saw in JP & the one that leaked from the workshop a few months ago looks bigger & more like a hybrid, are we sure Lockwood Manor has two different Dilo statues?

The leaked head a few months back and this statue are the same.

Man I hope we aren't just getting a diorama Dilo. That would be a kick in the groin considering they just gave us a hologram in JW. Not prominently using the dilos in JW2 would be utterly foolish. They are such an iconic part of the original film and haven't been seen on film for 25 years.

I totally agree, I'd like to see Dilo making a coming back, however I haven't found any signs of its return beyond this little cameo.

If they don't bring the Dilo back, that will just be inexcusable.

All signs seem to point to no dilos being in this movie. I can live with that if the movie turns out great! There is only so little time to fit every dino that we like into one movie, while also introducing new ones.

The filmmakers have already said the final conflict will be a smaller scale set piece with the big action scene in the middle of the movie, similar to the structure of the original film. We also know that it takes place at a mansion. If that is the case, you only have certain dinosaurs that will fit (literally) into that type of scene. We've had raptors in all 4 JP movies. What classic dino that could fit into a small scale finale would be more popular than the Dilophosaurus? Especially considering that it hasn't been seen since 1993.

If they seriously don't use the Dilo in JW2, they need to have their heads examined. How much can you milk the raptors and t-rex?

That already leaked. I will say one thing. This is a 'research' type of sub, meant for one person or so. Its meant for collecting specimens.

It's a bit of a stretch for a plotline. Not that I think it's not happening, but it seems like they would store DNA of said animal elsewhere without needing to retrieve it? Regardless, I'm excited about it. Should be a fun scene.

It also seems like a smart way to release a certain breed into a wild habitat for future use.

It will be extremely contrived and stupid if the mosasaur is still alive. There's absolutely no reason it would be.

Good point regarding knowing where to look for certain DNA, but I am sure Claire & Owen would have spoken to multiple media networks following the JW disaster & said what had happened.

Also who said the submarine kills the mosasaur? The mosasaur may simply end up dying from starvation in the months/years after JW's events!

Or maybe in the ensuing mayhem, the mosasaur escapes the lagoon into the ocean. The submarine has to have a way into the lagoon. Why can't the mosasaur use the same route out into the ocean?
