Is Owen Grady retarded? I think so, what on hell would you stand close to a T.rex that way.
Anyway, I hope he isn't about to do what I think he'll do. If they release dinosaurs on people, they are no better than ecoterrorists such as Nick Van Owen. I'm all in for animal rights, but releasing dinosaurs and putting people in danger isn't the most moral thing to do, Mr. Grady.

I think they are still on the boat. better to be released there than at the mansion where a potential drug lord could get his hand on her. i gotta say that the effects for rexy in that clip are really impressive. Like she looks like a real animal. You can tell its practical but with some cgi mixed in. The facebook comments are ridiculous! people "already lost hope" and people are complaining about humor when we barely got any humor in any of these teasers.

That scene is gonna be sooo good! But it makes me wonder why Owen go so close to Rexy.

The same reason Grant went close to the Triceratops in the first movie. Because she's amazing and sedated.

Chris Pratt's enthusiasm is so infectious. Bryce Dallas Howard played along perfectly as well. I hope they have a more fun, dynamic relationship this time around. Also Rexy is, to put it in Pratt's words, DOPE.

I'm thinking the context of this scene is that Owen and Claire somehow steal/reclaim Rexy once the dinosaurs are brought onto the mainland. She will probably be integral in their plan to stop whatever is happening at Lockwood Manor.

The negativity this film is getting already is so frustrating

I want more than anything for Bayona to absolutely hit a home run with this film. Would be sooooo nice watching all the haters being proved wrong!
So far, the film looks amazing and we haven't even gotten context within any of the TV spots yet. As soon as the trailer gives some context, e.g. Lockwood's plan to save the Dinos, perhaps people will actually give it a chance instead of complaining about a repeated story.

My only gripe is with Chris’ expression when he’s next to the Rex. It’s a little goofy (which may be the aim given the unknown context) but I’d like it to be a little more timid, cautious, etc. but again, I dont know the context so I am talking out of my ass. The shots themselves look wonderful though.

I like his reaction. I mean, it's goofy and funny to watch, but at the same time he seems also very scared, like he doesn't really want to be in that situation. I love it. Also Bayona... that shot is fantastic, really aiming to reach some iconic Spielberg imagery.

We've only seen 15 second clips and the cinematography and directing style is already inspiring! The shot of the Rex asleep with the spotlight behind her is channelling Spielberg so much!

Again, idk the context so I’m just shooting the shit. But totally agree on the cinematography. Those shots are already better than anything in JW, lol

I honestly prefer this one BY FAR.
It looks terrifying as I guess it should be for that scene. Already love this Baryonyx That still really oozes Bayona's darker style, while still being very Jurassic.
Also, did you read the article? Interesting things there.

I just find it a shame, it could have looked accurate as Csotonyi had designed it, been scary and have shut up some of "my crowd", but I'll live with it.
And I did indeed, all is sounding great but I hope it doesn't focus too much on their relationship.

Bayona is absolutely nailing everything so far for me. It feels so Jurassic!

The Baryonyx scene looks like it could be a third act moment, yet it's likely to be in the middle of the film. How will the Indoraptor top this? I mean, everything about it screams final boss battle from Resident Evil! The Indoraptor scene is gonna have to have some really cool stuff in it to top something so visually interesting as this one! CAN. NOT. WAIT.
