I'm excited to hear the soundtrack, hopefully we'll be getting a preview soon. As for an introduction, you can just go to the "The Port" section (above Off-Topic) and make a "hello" thread there!

Yep. I'm scared to buy too far out in case something comes up but i also want a good seat. I'll be checking in on seating throughout the day to see how competitive it looks. If it's something like star wars you have to preorder but i'm not sure what to expect from this.

When does the review embargo lift? As it's out in UK in a week, it must be soon...unless they're waiting for the US release?

I think the review embargo lifts a day before its UK release, which will give it a two weeks headstart before it reaches the USA. The fact that they're giving it a staggered release shows that they wouldn't take that kind of risk if they didn't have faith in the film.

This is correct. Or atleast that’s what John campea(movie critic) said yesterday on YouTube.

It does not guarantee good reviews but it can’t be a bad sign.

Well, I doubt they'd bother holding the embargo up until Us release date after an entire country has seen it.

Instead of just hoping against all rational probability that Colin steps down and lets Bayona direct the final film (though I wouldn't be against that), I'm just going to wait until I see/read the first behind the scenes info and the trailer to judge it for what it will be.

I've just been to see the T-Rex at Kings Cross... it's seriously buzzing Jurassic World over the whole station... it's got me convinced!

Even if he wanted to, Colin would never do it. Not after what happened with him, KK, and Rian Johnson. Like it or not, he needs this movie just as much as he needed the first JW movie.

^^ Book of Henry didn't help. Had that been successful, he'd probably be getting more offers.

Agreed. I don't think it's fair to have that movie be a scarlet letter for him. Nor do I think it was fair that he got screwed out of SW9 and then smeared. I just think that he was rushed too fast.

Yup, Trevorrow has had a combination of "boy band" packaging and partially been a victim of circumstance.

Regarding SW 9, he was probably devastated to lose that job...but IMO it's probably better in the long run for everyone involved that he has was replaced early on and made a clean break rather than being fired part way through ALA the original directors of Solo...less of a public embarrassment and generally less messy that way.

Track14 is interesting...Iris is Lockwood's housekeeper, but is she more...confidant? Girlfriend? Presumably she lives, so I wonder what the track title refers to?

I Think its kinda fun titles on the soundtrack. Michael Giacchino is a big joker with Words but he makes awesome Music.

I just love the names for these! Raiders of the Lost Isla Nublar, Thus begins the Indo-Rapture and Declaration of Indo-pendence are my favourites!
