Why are you letting critic reviews affect you? we live in a a day and age where critic opinion deflowers personal opinion so much. Let us not forget that TLW is rotten on RT. Definitely not a terrible movie bye anymeans..

Watched Fallen Kingdom two times and really can't understand the RT score.

Hope the film will be a huge success at the box office, just to show how useless RT is.

I find it not fair to have US critics be able to rate the movie on June the 6th and US Vievers on June the 22nd.

It matters to me because people are stupid enough to let critics form their opinions for them. Garbage movies like Deadpool get 82% while Fallen Kingdom is considered rotten? WTF. Especially when Fallen Kingdom is better than JW in like every possible way. Unreal.

It's not the most surprising thing in the world. It's not exactly a new thing for critics, fans, and the general audience to have opposing opinions on a movie.

Probably best to not give the RT score too much attention. It was pretty obvious right from the get-go that a lot of critics weren't going to give this thing a chance.

Those things you mentioned a ridiculous ways to say that you do not like a movie. Fine that you did not like it, its subjective. But to use that as an argument to why the movie received quite some critique is just bad. Its a summer blockbuster for crying out loud, not a documentary.

Pfffff, Imdb rating, the top 200 is full with mediocre movies. Great website to get a general idea if a movie has potential but thats about it.

It being a summer blockbuster is a very bad argument considering that the original was also a blockbuster but didn't have such a terrible script. The level of the Transformers sequels is pretty close with this new entry.

To be fair, details that we may find trivial as fans may hit others in different ways. For example, how nonsensical the Rex escape at the end of TLW is. If you're a stickler for details, how the ending of TLW played out makes literally no sense, and critics would most certainly see that (hence the low RT score), but us, as fans, would be more likely to look past it.

Long and short of it is some people watch movies looking for faults, and will rate a movie based on how many of these faults they find, not allowing themselves to be swept up in the picture. We, as fans, are less likely to look for these faults when we watch as film, as we want the movie to be good and want to get swept up in it and enjoy the experience.

Personally, I prefer the latter approach, but to to each their own. At the end of the day, there's no "wrong way" to watch a movie.

At the end of the day, you should never feel guilty or ashamed of getting enjoyment out of something that someone else doesn't. If anything, feel pity for more critical viewer.

This is the kind of thing I was talking about. People using critics as a way of justifying whether or not someone has low standards and then judging them for liking something they don't.

Also, by side characters, I assume you mean Franklin and Zia, in which case, they absolutely weren't useless. one of the things this film improved on from Jurassic world was giving it's characters a purpose in the story.
