I liked the del Toro films okay, but saw the new one yesterday and thought it was terrible - like watching someone play a trashy video game. None of the characters were remotely likeable (save maybe Alice) - why should we care about these miserable, nasty people? Mad

Oooh, but it's "dark and edgy." Rolling Eyes

Some things just shouldn't be rebooted (or if they are, they should be rebooted better than this!)

So I marathoned the Hellboy movies this week and I figured I'd give a quick rating of worst to best.

3. Hellboy II: The Golden Army
2. Hellboy (2019)
1. Hellboy (2004)

Golden Army had me falling asleep and looking at my phone a few times throughout, it definitely didn't hold a charm to the first and while the reboot flopped, it felt more like a horror movie than the original, which was good enough for me.

Its a quite good movie no doubt, full of fun. There is nothing bad in this movie no doubt.
