According to this, which is a realible source, The Flashpoint plot is dead and The Flash movie will be a stand alone movie.
This movie has had at least 2 directors drop out and what, 2-3 script re-writes? I really what the DCEU to succeed, but...stuff like this is making it really hard for me not to think that the whole thing should get blown up and start a whole new DCEU all over again.

Going back to basics and just keeping it a Flash movie is probably the smartest decision they could make, but it's the writers/directing duo they've hired that makes me nervous. They went from screenwriters on Spider-Man: Homecoming to blockbuster directors, sounds a lot like Simon Kinberg on X-Men.

It's the amount of directors and scriptwriters that are my main worry. I just find it so strange that Aquaman, of all heros and movies, has none of this and, despite people not liking the superhero, is actually a movie that has people wanting to like it.

I saw Justice League last night. It's not as bad as critics said, but I'm glad I didn't see it in the theater. It severely lacked direction. It was kinda a mess, actually. Just all over the place. The wardrobe kicked ass, though.
I especially loved Alfred's militarized look with his British commando sweater and paratrooper boots.

Henry Cavill says that Superman killing General Zod was needed for Sup's character via Man Of Steel 2.
I wasn't against Superman killing Zod, but the fact that Sup's didn't even try to lure Zod out of the city and fought him INSIDE it and was largely responsible for the deaths of so many people really made that moment feel wasted.
Good idea, terrible execution.
