A documentary series on Isla Sorna similar to Walking With Dinosaurs

I'd love to see a rewrite of Jurassic World. Remove Indominus and replace it the Carnotaurus and Troodon.

The third fan fiction would have been in present day and feature the Jurassic World characters in a novel context. Owen Grady would probably have been part of a government response team to handle the wild dinosaurs running around and try to move them into federally managed reserves. He would of course be working with his raptor squad.

Claire Dearing would have been the liaison at the government agency but been more focused on getting the animals into some kind of 'barrier' between the public. She sees the animals as a public hazard and does not see any majesty or wonder in them.

Grady signed on not to protect humans from the dinosaurs, but to protect the dinosaurs from humans. He has a connection with the raptor squad, as he raised them from birth from wild raptors that were taken to a laboratory at an early age.

Simon Masrani is the civilian contractor in charge of the animal handling/transport company that managed the reserves. He wants to make the reserves open to the public. (think a HUGE swath of the great plains area) but the government has resistance.

Meanwhile...Vic Hoskins is in charge of the animal capture/transport operations. He secretly is doing underhand deals with the DoD to research dinosaurs for possible militarization.

He is working with Henry Wu's nephew who has followed in his uncle's footsteps and wants to make more progress. He is fascinated by the thought of creating new dinosaurs however what he doesn't know is his newest creation...

Is basically Hoskins master plan. An improvement on the raptor squad. (Or so he claims) a dinosaur that will be able to track down wild dino pests more efficiently then any other.

Anyway, this would be like the movie version of the Indominus but maybe a little less out there (no camouflage, etc) and it would all go horribly wrong with the military improvements basically giving it tank like skin.

And to keep with the "World" theme there would be hints that Hoskins is also selling embryos of the captured dinosaurs to third world dictatorships for their own private zoos in order to raise petty cash.

Thoughts?

Pre Jurassic Park Construction or Pre Jurassic World Island Clean Up/Construction.

I would love to see those too TRK. Pre-Jurassic Park though would have to be just right before. I'd hate to read something about just construction and genetics without any dinosaurs Haha.

I've thought about writing an outline for a Jurassic Park television series. It would be a remake of Jurassic Park and The Lost World closer to the books, and then go off in its own direction. It would be called 'Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park' or something.

Currently working on one... the idea suddenly came to me one day, during the rain, around the time JPL was shutting down, (RIP.) Basically, the plot revolves around Isla Sorna prior to Hurricane Clarrisa, and will see the evacuation and abandonment of the island. I think I was inspired by JPL's shutdown... Anyway, the first chapter is near-completion. I'll probably post it here when it's done. I don't hold a record for notoriously 'good' stories, but personally I'm quite pleased with this one.

That's actually a pretty interesting idea. Or if you're me, a hilarious one.

I can just imagine someone like David Attenborough traveling over there with a camera crew, with the intent on making a perfectly normal doc on the natural life of "beasts of the pasts" and not expecting the dangers ahead.

Day 1: Host of documentary disappears.

Day 2. A crewman takes over hosting until they can find "the old wrinkly bastard, he probably found an interesting cabbage leaf."

Day 3. Incidents like peeing at dawn next to a triceratops in heat, finding that the base camp has been raided by hungry compys. Also, there an enormous pile of sh** on one of the sleeping bags.

Day 4. Attenborough returns to camp, totally unharmed except for that giant bite mark on his shoulder. He's extremely happy. "Now I know where the raptors keep their nest - their babies are so beautiful! Extraordinary!"

- Some survival stories on Isla Sorna.

- Some background stories pre-Hurricane Clarissa for Sorna and Nublar. So much rich lore to explore there.

I really have the urge to write something but I have no idea what.

I haven't written in sometime, but I've been having ideas since JW and reading through the old Sayles script.

I want to make a sequel series to JW based on the Chaos Effect toyline, and write it in episodes, like a TV series. Basically, Owen returns to Nublar to gather things and to check up on Blue one last time. He's with Barry and a small group of mercenaries he hired for some quick protection. In comes a large security force from InGen, who've been grabbing up assets and doing clean-up. The kill most of Owen's team, but take him and Barry hostage.

After waking up sometime later, they find themselves in a compound. Using his immense wealth and the fall out from Masrani's death, Henry Wu and some currently anonymous benefactors have purchased and split InGen into a separate company again. They are making dinosaurs for military application, as successful tests will grant them larger paychecks from the government. They ask Owen to spearhead a new project. Owen turns them down.

They reveal Blue, captive, in good shape. They then reveal four new hybrid Raptors. Each has an implant to keep them in control, but Wu threatens to give the order for them to kill Blue. In a moment of weakness Owen agrees, and asks to bring Barry onboard as well.

From there I haven't planned much. Claire would be introduced eventually, although I at one point had a plan where it was revealed one of the benefactors was Claire, and all those lessons about animals she was supposed to learn in the film went right out the window in favor of money. The other ideas were eventually run with the Chaos Effect mad science idea, where other corporations had started breeding dinosaurs, but weren't up to the standards of InGen, so all sorts of DNA was going in to try and perfect the craft, and things like the Amagaspinus and Ankylodactyl came to be. Eventually, taking inspiration from the Sayles script, I'd want infighting and potential escape for the Hybrid Raptors, and I think the "big bad" dinosaur would eventually be the Ultimasaurus.

LOL! But actually, I was sorta thinking of it like the original WWD series, where each episode focuses on 1 particular dinosaur through a character arc with a lot of side characters. But your idea's still hilarious, though.
