| Not really the last thing but: A new PC. After many years of rocking the Acer Aspire it was time to finally get something acceptable, so I did. Modest but more than enough: FX 6300, GTX 1050, 1 TB HDD and a modest 8GB of ram. Still looking to upgrade the ram and probably throw an SSD and another HDD in there but yeah, for <500 E, not bad. _______________ Formerly known as J-rex

I only have the basic DVD version of Gwangi. It's a great movie. Even more so considering how it was originally a lost project of Willis O'Brien. _______________ The undisputed dominant predator of Jurassic Mainframe.

I only have the basic DVD version of Gwangi. It's a great movie. Even more so considering how it was originally a lost project of Willis O'Brien. It is indeed a fun film, and a showcase of some of Harryhausen's finest animation with Gwangi sustaining quite a bit of onscreen time compared to other stop-motion characters he's animated. Also, I have to correct myself on Sorceror, it's not actually set in the Vietman War but in South America and is about of outcasts and criminals hoping to leave the country by transporting some boxes of nitroglycerin through the rough jungle and terrain. It was pretty much an impulse buy, but a worthy one. _______________ "Life will find a way." | |
