Yeah, that's what i've heard, some of the species on prior leaks are toys only.

But the dinosaurs and characters under the amber collection are from the movies, so this could imply that the Pyroraptor and Deinonychus appear in JW:D.

Also there was this rumour about the JP3 raptors being retconed as Deino for the third film...

Yeah that is what is making me think Kayla is definitely for Jurassic World Dominion. And it would make sense for her being a secondary character, as every movie after the first introduces at least two secondary characters after the protagonists. I think JWD will be no different in introducing some more support people on the side of the protagonists, as well as people form Biosyn.

So I keep hearing many videos on Youtube saying that...

Can anyone confirm or deny that? IF that is true then glad to see Colin his people finally realizing that they do not have to keep pretending JP, JW and JWFK are the only films in the franchise.

^^ Don't believe "spoilers" on YouTube, it's perhaps the least reliable source on the internet (along with We Got This Covered, which constantly bases articles on YouTube and Twitter).

Yeah, unfortunately YouTube is truly one of the least reliable sources of news for, well, anything. Naturally there are some great content creators that share real spoilers, but the monetization effect on the platform leads to the creation of completely fabricated spoilers. With that being said, I would love to have the Spinosaurus back.

I know Youtube is often unreliable but this apparent leaks were apparently first posted on the Jurassic World Fandom account on instagram. (The one that has been posting leaked photos for quite a while).

If it does come back, will we finally get why it looks so different then the new 'real' version, which looks like a Far Eastern dragon and a Dimetrodon, or will we be told to 'go to the sites' like the last time via Sorna?

I really hope it is the JP3 "outdated" version that comes back because that is the famous (or rather infamous) version that everyone does recognize instantly. I doubt they will feel a need to explain why it looks different than the real life one since very few people are aware of the real one. When you say Spino what first comes to mind to most people is "Oh yeah that dino that was somehow able to defeat a T Rex".

Saw that. So so far it seems like this movie is not afraid to have more straight up connections with Isla Sorna. That is a slight relief although we still have to see how everything will play out.

But credit and props to Colin Trevorrow for moving away from the "Jurassic Park and Jurassic World are the only films that matter" mentality.

I would really love for this film to drive home the point that it is not a risk to make references to The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3. The vast majority of fans do not want those films to be ignored. Most fans still consider TLW the best sequel and although JP3 was unpopular and still is hated, most fans do not want it erased. More like corrected or explained better.

Personally, I found Lowery to be one of the better characters from Jurassic World. From the looks of the article, it seems as though he'll still at least have a cameo. Still, it sucks if his role ends up being reduced because of the pandemic.

Also notice how the background stone arch in the photo is pretty similar in style with the ones present in the Barrakka gardens on Malta.

Yeah the NYT pics definitely were eye opening. And yeah ever since that leaked Amber Collection listing showed Kayla as an option for human character, I knew she had to be a pretty big or at least supporting role. Think Franklin/Zia level...for JWD. I do think that the woman is likely Dewanda Wise, and it's likely she's Kaylaa. Maybe they are in the woods after walking after a plane crash?

Either that or wait until its time to do reshoots for film these scenes and maybe other scenes they couldn't do due to Covid

But lets face it, even if it was delayed, there is no scenario where no film studio will wait till we have no more covid cases to resume filming on these films. If anything the only thing that will make studios not film anything is if governments impose a law that forbids any filming of any kind until the whole thing is over or all of the filming locations are yet again forced to go into lockdown

Deinonychus?

Nice find. As the Raptors are Deinonychus sized in the films, wonder if the Deinonychus will be like, eight feet fall? Also, hopefully the bodies are feathered.

So they are filming in Malta. So cool.
Edit : is it Herrerasaurus?

No idea since we didn't get a glimpse of the full body yet. Some suggests it's a Herrerasaurus, others that it's a dromaeosaurid (Deinonychus or Pyroraptor if one takes the leaks into consideration). If it ends up being an Herrerasaurus, I will wait for a shot of the entire creature before judging but if it's a new species of dromaeosaurid, then I think that the film would have missed a good opportunity to finally show a feathered raptor.
