That carnotaur deserved better. The species diversity is really nice.

Yea is the only part I did not like.

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I'm underwhelmed :/ I love the look of the film, but the trailer wasn't so great? I think all the clips they revealed before the trailer were much, much better. I wanted a more political, dialogue-rich trailer, but it focused way too much on the stampede. Damn.

Hope the Carno makes another appearance. Be a shame to introduce it just to kill it off like that.

That being said, that shot of Rexy roaring as the volcano is going off in the background is amazing.

Agreed, but in the BTS featurette it looked like the Carnotaurus animatronic was being used for a night shoot, meaning they may have more than one scene.

It was okay...a tease even for a teaser, really.

I feel the same. And I really did not want to see the Carno getting killed. Leave that to the film.

I also think some of the BTS and clips probably killed a lot of the “shock and awe”

Interesting fact though. Chris confirmed at the panel they said ALL of what we have seen in the trailer is first half

Brachiosaurus took my breath away. Loved every single shot, the dinosaurs dying will be very hard to watch. Visual effects are incredible, that Carnotaurus is the best "shut up" for those haters.

Only scene that botters me is the Carnotaurus dying in his first scene. Please don't make it his only scene in the movie.

Also, Pachyrhinosaurus LOOKS NOTHING like it. And it's all grey. Very sad to see it. Was so excited to see a colorful Pachy.

It felt like fan-fiction when the T-Rex killed the Carno. Firstly, why would the Carno stop when the volcano exploded, secondly, why did the T-Res bother killing the Carno in the middle of all the carnage? I am still 100% hyped and excited and the film looks amazing, but I'm definitely underwhelmed by the trailer.

My one fear was realized, but I thought that it would be the Metracanthosaurus that got the short stick, not the Carno.

Overall, this was an AWESOME trailer. An early Christmas gift.

It's a movie, it's not real, and we DEFINITELY don't need a repeat of the Rex/Spino debacle from III.

I'm hoping that there's a scene with Owen and the Carno before the stampede scene.

Now that I think about it, it'd be weird if the Carno just randomly appeared there. It would make a lot more sense if there was a scene involving the Carno going after Owen in the jungle before the stampede. It would at least give some logic to the reason why the Carno stopped running from the volcano to go after them.

The trailer was indeed epic but I wished they would have held off from focusing so much on the stampede, now the CGI haters will have a ton of ammo to complain about. I would have shown more dialogue scenes and top it off with the Trex roaring scene. But man there was some cool shots!

I was impatient, but it was totally worth it! Love seeing the Compys and Brachio on Main Street. The only downside is the Carno scene.

Completely agree.

Well I was right about the marketing push being purely about the volcano and the rescue. All of the tidbits from Act 3 that we saw in the BTS video will be in the trailer that comes this spring.

That trailer actually made me sad. Not sure that's the right emotion to feel in such a circumstance. I should be happy. I don't like thinking about the animals drowning while trying to escape an eruption.
