| They're awfully close to that lava. Shouldn't they be toasting? I know it's a Jurassic Park movie, but still, I've been close to really hot stuff. Heat radiates like crazy. Lava aside, the scene looks even cooler than I imagined. The Baryonyx is impressive. I agree, they're way too close to that lava. It's annoying. To be fair though, this is something every lava scene has done since Terminator 2 (when the connors were looking unprotected into a giant vat of molten steel lol). Lava, fire, and explosions in movies never convincingly give off any heat. | |

They might be sweating, we will see if this scene will be featured in the trailer (it very likely will). The Baryonyx though, he lives there. I just now realized because of your post that looking straight into a vat of molten steel would make you blind. Terminator 2's ending is RUINED rip in pieces terminator. I mean, both dinos have black skin and similar jaws. Really too similar to each other, isn't it? There is an entire subplot to the movie that doesn't concern the volcanic eruption and the rescue of the dinosaurs on Isla Nublar. Suffice it to say, Universal knows that saving dinosaurs from a volcanic eruption provides more than enough cool imagery to get people into the theater. At least for now, the volcano and rescue are going to be the focus of the marketing. That Baryonyx jaw does not match the one in the shot with Bayona and it is definitely missing one very key (rumored) physical trait of the Indoraptor. | |

That Reddit guy may have been right so far, but so is Neomorph. So as of now, it's a 50/50 wash for me. I'm also hyped over how we're getting far more animatronics for this movie. _______________ The undisputed dominant predator of Jurassic Mainframe.

I'm also hyped over how we're getting far more animatronics for this movie. I keep hearing people talking about Neomorph...who is this Neomorph guy? Oh, I see. He revealed the plot summary & some other scene descriptions back in May this year which have all come true! Yeah, and not long after he leaked all that, he asked the mods/admins to delete his account. The consensus here is that he was either a Universal employee or somebody with very close ties to one and that he didn't want to increase his chances of getting caught, which were probably already high to begin with. _______________ The undisputed dominant predator of Jurassic Mainframe.
